This book is a great analysis of the spiritual and moral climate in the 1940s. What is most interesting is that it is almost prophetic about the spiritual climate of North America at this present time. What the author advances, both in analysis, and as solutions, are applicable even today, almost 70 years after the book was written.

Excellent writer with some good ideas but the book is sadly very dated to its day (published in 1944).
