This latest book in the Anchored series is fantastic! This time it's June's turn. Ryder is relatively new to the club and she knows he's not who he says he is. He says he's a writer but he's actually with the FBI in town to catch a criminal. The two have spent the time flirting with each other but June never plays with patrons or in the club at all. Ryder is fascinated by her and is determined to get his chance with her. One night, that all changes. It's been a month since her grandmother passed and she can't bear to be alone. So she invites Ryder to spend the night with her. It's an amazing night but it ends when he gets a phone call and June finds that he has two phones. She asks him about it and when he tells her he really can't say, she trusts him. The call was from his boss and she gives him privacy to return it. When she finds out he has to leave, she let's him know it's ok. His team manages to catch the bad guy and he returns to Anchored where June finds out who he really is. He also tells her he plans to stay in town and be with her. The two end up engaged and ready to start their journey together.

Below Deck is the story of June, the bartender at Anchored, and Ryder. June has been a secondary character in all of the books in this series but she does not play with anyone nor allow anyone to see her outside of the club. But she will mildly flirt with some customers. Ryder has been coming to the club for the last month or so and has had his eye on June the entire time. He flirts with him but she can tell he is holding something back and is not really who he appears to be. One night June is feeling very lonely and invites Ryder to spend the night with her. They have a fantastic time together but it is cut short when he receives a call from his boss and has to go. The next day he comes to the club again to see June and explain not only who he is but what he was doing. It turns out he is an FBI agent and he has been hunting for a criminal who he and his team finally got the night before. But he also has a surprise for June as he has decided he needs to move her permanently and wants to be with her. Let's just say that June gets her happy ending in more ways than one.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Below Deck is the fifth book in the Anchored series, but could be read as a stand alone. June never mixed pleasure with business, but can’t resist temptation with Ryder. Carrying secrets, Ryder won’t deny the connection forming with June, but when his reason for being in town is over, will he stay and find love with June?
I’ve been wanting June’s book for a while now and I loved reading this addition to the series! It was steamy and freeing, and I loved how secure in their connection they both felt. June might be a successful business woman, but she dreams of love. She needs to be brave in some of the scenes with Ryder, and I loved that she knew that trust would come with time. Ryder had one focus - June. I loved that even with his job and the secrets he had, he hated to lie and hated to keep parts of his life from June. I also loved his dominance and the ways he supported June through her low moments. Their connection felt so strong, their intimacy had a darker side to it than found in the previous book, and I really enjoyed these two characters. This book focuses primarily on the couple, and I loved how fast paced it went!
Below Deck is June and Ryders story. June finally finds the one to fulfil her. Not too many patrons know that June owns the Anchored BDSM Club. She likes it that way. She tends bar and watches out for everyone in the club. She and Ryder have been flirting for some months now and she knows that he is lying to her about his life. They start their relationship with some lies between them but June knows that when Ryder can talk to her freely he will tell her what's really going on with him. She trusts him that much. Ryder has had to keep his identity a secret and when he's finally free to go to June it's with all the right words and love shining in his eyes. Fantastic. Below Deck is book five in the Anchored series and this time it’s June’s turn, the owner and genius behind Anchored. June has felt an attraction to Ryder for months but she knows that something’s not quite right. She knows that he isn’t who he says he is. Ryder has felt himself becoming more attracted to June throughout his undercover assignment for the FBI. To everyone else he’s just a reclusive writer that enjoys spending his weekends as a Dominant at Anchored. He’s had to move to the area to complete his assignment, which he’s determined to do. This is another interesting addition to the series and it’s good to see the boss in a different light.

The secret that has been building through 4 novellas is finally revealed. So just who is the owner of Anchored? And how did the patrons never figure it out before now?
This story also finally shows bartendress June giving in to her BDSM desires with the super hot, yet super secretive Ryder Hawke. The story line was well written and I lived the fact that June finally "let her hair down" so to speak. As she plays in integral role in the other books, I loved that this one focused on her. And like the others in the Achored series , it was full of steam, romance, and love.

The owner finally gets her own man. June is the owner of Anchored a BDSM club, and has never played at the club. But a new member named Ryder intrigues her. She thinks he’s hiding something, but when he kisses her and tells her what he’s going to do to her the first time he gets her in his bed, she’s a goner. But Ryder isn’t from the area and is an FBI agent undercover on an assignment. Once he gets his man he will have to leave. But what if he’s find the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with? Fantastic story about June and Ryder. This is such an awesome series with some intriguing characters finding their forever loves in a most unconventional place. I liked how June knew that Ryder was keeping something about himself secret but she had learned to rely on her ability to judge the character of a person and she knew that whatever it was he was not a danger to her or her club and she trusted him to tell her when the time was right. I liked the strength and confidence that showed what a fabulous woman she was! A great addition to this series!

June works as the bartender at Anchored. Not many people know she is actually the owner of the club. She’s dealing with grief and loneliness, but very few people know that, either. Ryder knows there is more to June than is apparent. He wants to get to know her better, but there are secrets he cannot share. Below Deck is an adult novel with a good story.

This is where we find out just who the owner of Anchored truly is. I absolutely love this series! There are a few hints of characters that don't get HEA by the end of book 6 so I am honestly hoping that Sophie has more books to come for the future!

The author has, again, given us characters that we can understand. June, the bartender at Anchored, tries to keep her private life to herself. Ryder is intrigued by June, but he is keeping secrets of his own.
