Writing to "strike a chord or touch a nerve" author, poet and storyteller Branch Isole uses commonly shared themes every reader knows first hand to explore or reflect on issues and emotions often experienced, but not always voiced. www.branchisole.com
“The first section almost had me in tears. The rest ranged from laughter to deep thoughts. That’s the best I can say about any book, ‘It made me think’.” Douglas M. Las Vegas, NV

Brief, yet not a quick read, Reflections in Chrome invites the reader's mind to dwell on morsels of experience. Some were funny, some painful. These poems deal with the things we often observe but fail to acknowledge. Isolde suggests that we pause and reflect: is there more meaning or none at all?
This book is not meant for children; the poems in this book are quite from an adult perspective. I recommend that one reads one or two, digests and returns. Isolde is unlike the many writers who use poetry as self-therapy while sinking into depressing self-pity.
As he states so clearly in his "Personal Resolution":
Poetry, regardless of form by its very nature is meant to spark universal emotions common to personal resolution Not merely to describe the author's daily constitution.
This adorable collection of poetry is both profound and funny! My favorite is, by far, Menopause. Short and sweet and to the point!! I actually laughed out loud! Closed Doors made me stop and think about what is really going on behind the doors of my neighbours.
Many parts of this book brought tears to my eyes because i could relate to some of parts. I really liked it, and i would recommend it to a lot of people.
