Confluence: Love and Adventure in the Wild American West

Rate this book
Confluence is the story of a woman's struggle with fidelity after meeting her soul mate on an adventurous backpacking trip in the Utah desert. She tries to return to her life in Montana, but can she? A refreshing story that speaks realistically about the nature of commitment in love and marriage, Confluence is more than a tale of contemporary love. It's about self discovery, difficult choices, and having the courage to be the architect of your own fate.

I had just returned from an "adventure in the wild American West"...well...adventure by my standards. My choice of this book by Susan Morgan was happenstance. It's a cross between a travel guide, love story, and psychoanalysis primer, with maybe too much emphasis on the details of all the discussed National Parks (she all but lists the toilet facilities available).
