“Bully,” is the second romance novel in the “Pine Point” series by Eve Adams.

Fern Hollister owns a popular bakery that sells organic foods. She has good friends, a job she loves and a perfect cottage in the mountains. Her life is set. What else could a girl ask for? She believes she has it all until sexy Ash Cooper shows up in town. The man is a hands on kind of guy—a builder by trade, in town to help renovate some old cabins and turn them into a summer resort at the lake.

When he and Fern first cross paths, she thinks he’s a real bully with too much money and not enough manners and is determined not to like him at all. What is it about that dark hair, those ice-blue eyes and that muscular body that she can’t seem to stop daydreaming about? She also finds out he’s her best friend’s brother—talk about complicated.

Ash is running back to his childhood home from a life in New York and Fern is running from the past. She has had bad luck with men and he’s got a reputation from his younger years that makes her fear getting to know him better. Things begin to heat up between them, but can they forget their fears and try to start something new? When these two spice up the nights in Pine Point, everyone might just forget that it’s the middle of October.

This is a 60k plus word romance novel that features mature situations.

I was excited to have the second book in the series be released. The author has a great way of getting the reader to be a part of the character's lives. We want to see them be happy and make good decisions.

While this was suggested to be erotica, it isn't. There is almost no sex at all and what there is is just sweet romance. I don't care for sex scenes just for the sake of sex scenes.

I am anxious for another book in Pine Point.
