Wow, I wish I could switch places with Angel!! :D Another very enjoyable and very steamy read, but again, I was left wishing it had been longer. I think both of the author's Stormy Weather series books have enormous potential to be full length books, as she writes very well. In this book, the steamy moments were well written and very hot :) but the rest of the book felt a little condensed. Overall, a nice quick, super hot :) and enjoyable read. Would definitely buy other books from this author.

Seen through the view finder

Just what you expect to come from the bayou, a hot and steamy read sure to fog up your glasses. The author wrote these brothers with a fantastic sense of self, caring and hot alpha male, pairing them with an equally strong woman with just that hint of vulnerability. I enjoyed the way they overcame their differences and the danger that followed them into the swamp. The ending was a little abrupt, but it made the story no less entertaining. I was enthralled from the first page and I can’t wait to see what the author brings us next.

Now this is the type of hot Cajun werewolf action I was looking for. Seriously, if you're going to throw caution to the wind and have a blistering affair with a werewolf, why not go all in and make it a threesome? I mean, I wouldn't object to being housebound in the middle of a wicked storm with two sexy brothers who like to share and occasionally shapeshift into wolves. Maybe that's just me.

In case you couldn't tell, I really liked this one. It was hot, sexy, and a little naughty. My only squick moment was the thought that brother #2 was pushing the boundaries of what brother #1's wolf would allow him to do to Angelica. He had this whole dominance thing going while they were, umm, pleasuring her because he recognized that brother #1's wolf waned to claim her as his own. The thought of brothers sharing a lady doesn't bother me, but one brother pushing the other as they are ... I had a moment.

Still, I liked it. I'm curious if their threesome is something that'll continue into the future since one brother put the claim on her. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next couple of books to find out.

So, yeah. Hot Cajun werewolf threesome. If you're into that (which I apparently am), you'll like this one.

Eh.

Very short novella about Angelica, a wildlife photographer, and two Cajun werewolf-brothers, Jules and Andre. They are hired to find her by her creepy ex, but once they find her they take her back to their cabin in the woods and promise to protect her.

Sex ensues. Both brothers really like her, and are "sharing" her, but Jules decides he is going to mate her. I'm not exactly sure where this leaves Andre because it isn't explained.

Oh and at some point, the creepy ex comes back and tries to kill them, but with magical healing powers, they are all ok. Except the ex, who dies via werewolf.

Really not much plot, just hi, eating gumbo (because duh! they're Cajun), sex, mating. I'm not going to say the sex scenes aren't pretty hawt, because they are. But I need more out of a story. Like...a story.

this book is freaking great if ur looking for something quick, sexy, detailed and of course filled with super hot werewolf brothers who would rather share a woman than fight over her. i mean these guys are out of control beef man cakes times 10! seriously!

i could have lived without the whole double dipping part towards the end but in general, 59+ pages of good times in the bedroom is totally ok with me!

Now this is more like it. What girl wouldn't want to be stranded in a cabin, in a hurricane, with two very hot Cajun men?? This book was very good. It moved so quickly I was finished before I knew it. I recommend this book. Ménage is the main concept of this story.

Read and reviewed many years ago individually and in the box set 1-5. But those original reviews are once again missing. Reread in the box set once again.
I suggest reading in order to get the most out of this series.
Short sweet with some hot sex scenes.
Jules and Andre, two sexy Cajun werewolf brothers, are hired to find Angelica by her ex.
Angelica is a wildlife photographer out in the bayou with a hurricane coming to get special outstanding photos.
When they do find her, she tells them in no uncertain terms that he was never a boyfriend, let alone an ex.
Both Jules and Andre want Angelica and as they have shared other women it is no problem, but some where along with the sex, Jules marks Angelica. Andre is not at all bothered as he has some secret going on.
When the ex turns up and causes problems, it is instant love by angelica when she thinks Jules will die. Not these Cajun wolves, takes more than bullet to stop them.
This is sort of running concurrently with book one.

Hunter

An exciting plot, an evil ex hunting her, a hurricane, two handsome strangers, and unbelievable passion. Trapped in the bayou, no place to go, power out, what were they going to do? Unique characters, unexpected feelings, someone wants to claim their mate! How would he tell her?

Short but sweet and plenty of spice.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little disappointed with how everything fell into place so quickly with no speed bumps. I love me some insta/fated mates, but I would have loved this to have dragged on more than a few days.

Now I have to find out who heals the broken-hearted Andre, too!!

Bitten in the bayou

As first I though I wasn't going to enjoy this book because of both brothers competing for one women but leave it to Selena she make it work and make it seem least sinful and erotic .it really among one of my favourite book I love it.

Hot but confusing

The story was hot and the chemistry between Angelica, Andre and Jules was scorching but… This wasn’t a ménage romance? Did I miss something? I feel odd that one out of three was just left outside suddenly.

Less than impressed. If she is his mate then how can she share her with his brother. If you like to read spice but ignore plot then have at this 83 page book but if you like the lore of mate bond I’d pass it will just piss you off.

Some very steamy scenes but there were parts in the writing that didn't make sense. I would re-read a couple times then move on when it still didn't make sense. Kinda takes you out of the story.

This would have been better if they hadn’t mentioned that they always take women together to their bed. Zapped any romance away. It makes her not anything special if they’ve done the same before.

This is Jules' story. He meets Angelica Humphrey when her ex-boyfriend hired him and his brother André to find her, supposedly lost in the woods. Only to find out she's a wildlife photographer and she's being stalked by her ex-boyfriend.
The two men take her back to their "cabin" and things begin to heat up between the three.
I'm not usually a fan of trios, but this scenario seemed a bit unique to the story. Although both André and Jules seduce Angelica, she is drawn more to Jules. André has some deep dark secret that makes him keep his distance emotionally. Although the two men usually have rules about sharing a woman, Jules is drawn to Angelica and wants her for himself.
Angelica is not usually so obvious in her desire for a man, but what can she do when two gorgeous Cajun men show up to rescue her. Then, when the ex-boyfriend shows up . . . the true danger begins.
The relationship between the three was interesting, and the story itself sort of leads in to André's story later on. Angela's personality is more caregiver. She is sensitive, a bit quiet and caring. I found her refreshing and a perfect match for Jules. Overall a good read, steamy sex, and a unique love triangle.

Bitten in the Bayou is the second in the Stormy Weather series and like the first in the series this book has some very swoon-worthy and hot guys in! I definitely felt this book took a step up in hotness.

It’s quite a short read but the story is fast paced and although quite predictable I definitely found it a nice quick but good read, I wasn’t left bored at any point. Obviously because it’s a quick read the characters don’t really have long enough to get to know each other that well so I wouldn’t say the relationships between the characters were developed that well but the characters all have their own personalities which were developed a little bit.

When I started Stormy Weather series I was hoping for a series which had easy and quick reads. So far with The Cajuns Captive and Bitten in the Bayou I have definitely enjoyed reading them, I have read both when I have been struggling to get into other books and they have provided me with a break from bigger and more complex books.
