The edition of OVA I've just read is the 3rd edition and I picked it up as part of the Kickstarter. I've had a soft spot for anime games since about 2002 when I picked up a copy of Big Eyes Small Mouth (BESM) 2nd edition but since the publishers of BESM went bust OVA is one fo the few anime RPGs still in print. The artwork throughout is by Niko Geyer, whose work I've liked since reading BESM. The book does a good job of conveying the feel of anime and includes some more "modern" takes on narratavistic player empowerment. Conflict is resolved using a d6 pool system where you're looking for the highest number or the sum of multiple numbers.

Overall I'm glad I bought this book and look forward to running a game or two to see how the rules work out in play.
