Invaded
An ancient alien race invades Earth and destroys our military bases and our ability for mass transportation. They then proceed to thin out the human population to eliminate our ability to recreate mass destruction. The book then centers on the lives of a diverse group of survivors who come together by fate. The survivors work to make a safe haven and then go on the offensive to regain our planet.
