Religious Nationalism: Hindus and Muslims in India
Religious nationalism is a subject of critical importance in much of the world today. Peter van der Veer's timely study on the relationship between religion and politics in India goes well beyond other books on this subject. This book can be seperated into two parts, first in the theory of this book and second the analysis of India. The explanation of the India is amazing and attractive, but evidence, samples and analysis are lacking to persuade the reader to the maxmium extent.
