This is the sequel to Cornerstone Deep. It is a well-developed book of love, revenge, desire, obsession, foolishness, and innocence. Cornerstone Deep Echoes takes the reader to a whole new world, literally.
I am very impressed at how well the plot of the story was developed. Their are several story lines going on at one time, but the writer keeps them straight. There is no confusion about any of that. The characters are full of depth and pull you to them.
You do have to read the first book before you pick this one up. Otherwise, you'll miss out on so much critical information. The first book can be slightly confusing as it is a new world and culture which takes some getting used to.
Within this book is magic, science fiction, and mythology wrapped around a few romances. The author does an excellent job in creating story lines that run parallel and cross at the perfect time. I thought it would get confusing as it talks about reincarnation with the past lives playing a prominent role, but it didn't. Everything was clear.
As I said, there are elements of magic. This is a very sensual book though there are no explicit scenes. What scenes are there are mild.
This was an enjoyable read with characters you'll come to love and love to hate.

In deep Echoes Cole and Mianna are finally together. Things are not what they seem though because they have a few issues. First Mianna still has some of Anna in her. It is hard for Cole to keep his anger and love in check. He wants to be with Mianna but he wants to be free of Anna. He wants his love and trust to be in the person that is there helping him out. Cole has come a long way but his heart knows what it wants but what will it do?
Then Mianna has Lord Dressen on her tail. He wants her for his own and he will stop at nothing until he has her. Lord Dressen also has unearthed powers he never knew he had. With his magic pearls he can see things and he is determined to destroy Cole and his brothers.Lord Dressen is a man on a mission and he wants Anna and he is determined to take her and show her that he is the right person to be with.

Excellent follow up to the first story! Really enjoying this series so far! Could be read as a standalone sort of, but you would miss out on so much from her first story the Transformation of Anna that it would truly not be as great as an experience as I want you to have.
A story of reincarnation, love, evil magic, and dark forces! What more could you really ask for? I am a fan of paranormal romances and if you are too than this is your story! Go ahead and get started you wont be disappointed :)

I really found this second book even better than the first. The characters have evolved, some for better, some for worse, but all show a cara of the author in their composition. I'm eagerly waiting to read the third!

OMG!!!!! Cole finally got his soulmate. They find their mother soul and they found their father's soul. Absolutely awe inspiring and beautifully written. I am really loving this series. I received this book for free in an exchange for an honest review.

Whimsy and love adorn this fantasy world that pits magical against noble bloodlines. This book was thoroughly entertaining as true love battles egos. It held me riveted from start to finish.

** this is a complete story. You could read this as a stand-alone but you would lose out on the background story for all the characters involved. So good idea to read them in order.
I really like this author. What i like is how when i finished the story i felt satisfied. Charlene is one of the few authors that understand about writing a series.
I read her first story and it was fabulous and she didn't disappoint me on this one either. Only problem i had was my damn family ( grown a$$ adults!!)kept interrupting me while i was reading. I had to hide in the bathroom first then sneaked down to my basement to finish reading. Took me two days but trust me it was worth it!
There's love, family, romance, conflicts, magic and a little mystery to. What more can a story have? Just sit back read and enjoy the ride that this story takes you. I did and i don't regret it and neither will you! Good job

So many questions answered. I felt the emotions of each character. I recommend reading the book. I love how the books tie into the previous seamlessly. So many more questions can't wait to read the next book in the series. I recommend reading the whole series from the beginning.

I won this book as a First Reads giveaway. I feel terrible about giving this book such a low rating. I really wanted to like this series and was looking forward to reading it. I just feel obligated to be honest in my review. It's nothing personal and this is all just my opinion.
Now if you liked the first book you will most likely love this book. Much of the problems in this book are the same problems in the first book, Cornerstone Deep. There are a few things that get compounded on and some new additions to the list of issues I had.
First things first: *Trigger Warning for Rape* . To know what you are avoiding:
One new thing that bugged me in this book was the story. Yes, in continues from the first book's story, which is fine. I liked the first book's story. The problem comes in when the plot is moved by the same stupid jackassery by the characters, mainly Cole's. That gets old quick. Then there was the ending. It repeated with the gods stepping into save the day while everyone else was bumbling around incompetently.
Characters still have firm personalities but I find them all irritating. They remain the same and continue the same stupidity. If Cole wasn't a terrible person, by not telling Anna everything, being a condescending jackass and making the same stupid mistakes, there would be no conflict or plot. I mean even at the end of the book Cole
At least Lindia cared about Anna just as Anna, not some play thing to fight over. Elaina is a timid wet blanket. She just worships Vince, leaves and breathes for his approval, and never stands up for herself. I find it rather disturbing how Vince treats her like a stupid child and doesn't talk to her like a woman, like a partner. Then there's Miriana. She started praying over breaking curfew as Anna. Seriously? Maybe letting go a bit was part of her soul's progression. Cole makes mention for a moment, a sentence of regret for losing her soul six lives progression and then just goes around being her big stupid condescending bumbling protector. James remains perfect, with one bumbling panic moment around taking care of the chilren, how sweet! There were some cute moments with James and Lindia being shy and insecure. Honestly, James does know how to treat a woman. Then I was cheering for the children with their bluntness, and insight. Too often people over looking how much children see and understand. The children were among the most sensible characters.

Echoes is a shockingly spectacular sequel to the Transformation of Anna that will leave you reeling from the mind-blowing revelations and truly surprising twists of fate. I can honestly say that I was absolutely stunned by the events that took place and spellbound by the secrets that were revealed. Nothing is as it seems and that makes this story that much more delicious and irresistible to me. I love a beautifully captivating story that can take your breath away without a second thought. By all rights, this is one of those stories, and I was pleased to have found such a treasure.
I couldn’t wait to dive back into the world known as Cornerstone Deep. Its characters greeted me with open arms and allowed me to pass through the veil of casual friendship into the world of a deeper relationship with them. I enjoyed learning more about what drove each of the brothers to become who they were. They each revealed how their heart desperately searched for their soul mate, and how they each had to fight relentlessly to keep their love. This is a story of a soul-searing love, boundless determination, and unwavering devotion that will call to your heart and leave a lasting impression. If this story doesn’t touch your heart on some level, then you are clearly made of stone.
Battles were fought and victories were won, but in the end no one was ever the same again. The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.
Well Cole found a way to get Anna back from Lord Dressen to try and make things right with Anna. But things don't go as he planned while trying to save Anna and give her life back to her. Cole loves Mianna his soul mate very much and wants her back. He thinks with having Anna he will have her back in his life. But Cole's attempt to give Anna her life back goes horribly wrong.
I understand wanting your soul mate back but If having your soul mate back messes up some one elses' life and having that life taken from them then that is not right. How could any one claim to love someone so much and then mess it up so badly? Mianna has lived her life, Anna deserves to be able to do the same thing. Lord Dressen didn't know what love really is or he would never want to take her mind from her and turn her into a puppet, a robot. All he wants is someone he can control and have do exactly as he says.
Yes, Cole really made a mess of things and yes he did Anna wrong but I think he did love her and he tried to give her life back. I think Coles heart was in the right place but as they say love is blind and you don't always see the truth until it is too late if ever.

Picking up where the first in the series left off, although I found this installment far less enjoyable, and far more wrought with disturbing moments, mostly down the seemingly static characters and the increasing levels of violence and abuse perpetrated by the villain. While the story is beautifully written, the prose is lyrical and beautiful, and the underlying essence of love is apparent: it did not feel as if any of the characters learned or grew from their experience.
People who loved the first, however, are certain to have a more positive reaction to the characters and story, although I do feel that many will be frustrated with some of the behaviors and dismissive attitudes toward the women in the series. I was hoping for a better approach to the encroaching attitude of Anna within Mianna, and it seems as though the story stopped progressing when those difficulties were detailed. While it was a competent second book in the series, I’d like to move forward more and find some resolution for Cole, and mates for his brothers. I did enjoy the inclusion of the gods and their twisted sense of loyalty to covenants and promises, and think this will be an enjoyable twist and interest for fans of the series.

Cornerstone Deep Echoes is the second installment in Wilson's Chronicles of Shilo Manor series, and was just as much a pleasure to read as the first. The timeless love story is brought to life in a new and creative way that pulls at your heartstrings and keeps you reading.
Now that Cole has Mianna back in his life, all should be perfect, but it is just not the case. It seems that there is still a great amount of Anna within her, and that is difficult for both of them to deal with. Add the fact that Lord Dressen is still intent on having Anna for himself, and will do anything to get her, and you have a great drama playing out.
With the help of the magical pearl, Dressen is able to see his past lives and regains powers he never knew he had. Now he is able to move things with his thoughts, influence others emotions, and control the elements.
Can the brothers come together and fight for what is right? Will true love prevail?

So our story continues with more of the unexpected and Lord Dressen is arrogant, obsessed and getting creepier by the page. The guy is quite the villain.Cole and Mianna's love is tested
The pearl is quite a powerful tool. I found it very interesting and captivating. Linda, James, Elaina and Vincent are a great supporting cast! Filled with fun, witty banter. The twists and turns that unravel are amazing and kept me wanting more. So, will true everlasting love prevail? Or will doubt and misunderstandings get in the way? This is a wonderful story and I surely hope Ms. Wilson will write book three as I want more. I just can't seem to get enough of this series! I would love to see if Elaina and Vince have a family and what happens with Linda and James. I want more of Cole and Mianna as well. I beautiful story will an extraordinary plot and characters! Please keep the stories coming Ms. Wilson! I devoured it in a day!

The twists and turns that unravel are amazing and kept me wanting more. So, will true everlasting love prevail? Or will doubt and misunderstandings get in the way? This is a wonderful story and I surely hope Ms. Wilson will write book three as I want more. I just can't seem to get enough of this series! I would love to see if Elaina and Vince have a family and what happens with Linda and James. I want more of Cole and Mianna as well. I beautiful story will an extraordinary plot and characters! Please keep the stories coming Ms. Wilson! I devoured it in a day!

Ms. Wilson has done it again! Once more the author gives us beautiful prose, well written details, and a love story to span all of time!
The story picks up where 'Cornerstone Deep' left off. Cole has his soul mate back - but for how long? Lord Dressen presents a huge obstacle for the couple as he still wants Cole's love for himself.
Truly amazing story with a great ending. I can't get enough of the Shilo brothers! Such unique personalities that feed off each other and give a realistic view into the dynamic of being brothers. Add in some magic, true love, and awful villains and you can't go wrong!
Once again, I wish I could give this a 10, but I'm only allowed 5 stars. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

After reading book one I was anxious to get started on book Cornerstone Deep Echos. I would suggest reading book one before this book because the author does a really good job in creating her world in book one. If you start with book two you might be left scratching your head at times wondering what the heck just happened.
Wilson continued her excellent plot building and character development skill with this book. I enjoyed the story as it deepened and delved a little more heavily into the villain doing what villains do. The three brothers continue with their whit and bickering while they deal with what life throws at them.
If you enjoy reading magic filled paranormal romance with lots of action, twists and turns in the plot with multiple story lines going, then this book is for you.

This was a great end to the Cornerstone Deep Trilogy, and to know that the characters will move on the the next plane with some new ones to join them thrills me so much. If you have have thought that maybe you were part of a paralell universe, then you will really love this Trilogy. To think that we may have elders that live among us that help to keep the flow of life on a even keel is really staggering. Well this trilogy involves all of these and then some. Reincarnation, soul mates for life, its all here and it can make you wonder. The imagination of Charlene is absolutely outstanding and can't wait for the new series to start.

I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE. I'M IN LOVE WITH CHARLENE A WILSON. One of the best new authors i've read. Right up there next to Gena Showalker, Kim Harrison, Jane Krentz, Kresley Kole. . .I could just go on. You will not be disappointed when you read this series. It took me approximately five hours from beginning to end of this third story of the cobblestone series. She created a world of magic and gods and i felt like i was right there watching everything unfold and it was one hell of an emotional ride! Great job Charlene! Two thumbs up 👍👍

This is book 2 picks up from where the first book ended. You really get to know all the characters and where they come from, and how entwined all their lives are.
It is a beautiful romantic story with excitement and twists and turns that you do not see coming, it truly is in a class of its own.

This is book 2 in the Cornerstone series and it just keeps getting better and better!
From the first word to the last this story will hold your every emotion hostage.
It will draw you in and take you on a journey that will transcend your every emotion.
You will feel hope, joy, laughter,heartache ,despair and even the taint of evil.
I do suggest reading book 1 in this series before, if possible.
I am firm believer in reading a series in order - okay I am slightly OCD.

A touching and magickal romance story, "Cornerstone Deep Echoes" picks right up where 'Cornerstone Dee' left off. Charlene pens her characters well written and brings them to life in this fast paced, totally hard to put down sequel. Recommended for all romance and paranormal romance fans.

Triple whammy, the third and final instalment of this cracking trilogy and it is no less exciting and compelling as the first two.
I really enjoyed this book and series as a whole, i connected with the characters, got lost in the plot it is an amazing trilogy by a truly talented writer and I would highly recommend this book and series as a whole

Mianna is dealing with her life as Anna and what had happened to her before getting her soul back to this life (previous Anna's). Will Cole and Anna manage to deal with everything - insecurity and forgot the past. Add to it interesting part with souls descending via different life times and memories from past lives.
This book was so more sensual and better than book 1.

Wow! Here I though book 1 in this series was great! This one blows that one out of the water!! With tons of twists and turns.. you’ll never expect what comes next! Charlene does an amazing job and world building and character development that just draws you right into the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Shilo brothers and their ladies!!

I just love a page turner and this one is so a page turner. It is so full of excitement and happiness and sadness and good and evil. It covers it all. I can't wait to read the next book. I really recommend this if you want to curl up and read a great book!

Oh WOW! I was sitting on the edge of my seat for most of this whole book. This is such an exciting series and I can't wait for the next book to be released. I sure hope we don't have to wait very long because I need to find out what happens to these people. Thanks Charlene!
