Published simultaneously with volumes on the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats, this text looks at the practices and policies of the Conservative Party, and why readers should vote conservative.
It is hard to take Willetts seriously when he suggests an equivalency between Karl Marx and Tony Blair.
I wanted to give him an open-minded, fair chance after seeing the general ratings on goodreads. But such a rating is deserved.
I've moved towards the centre and yet I still find myself chuckling at Willetts' claims about Labour - he has, rather hilariously, contradicted himself on numerous occasions such that Labour will appeal so much more to the electorate than the Tories would as soon as they read this.
Willetts argument cycle in this book: *Gives reasons for how Labour creates jobs and opportunities for everyone* *demonises said policies* *claims Tories can do it better* *provides random statistics that do not help his case* and repeat.
(Also I expect a couple hundred blank pages... pity that wasn't the case)
