About the author

Kaichi Satake (aka Kai Starr) has written several books and drawn graphic novels in the science fiction, historical fiction and fantasy genres, but currently specializes in westerns. Many of his works appear on the KyokiPress.com and KaiStarr.com websites as serials: namely, the ShadowFall stories and graphic novel, and the Desperado western stories. He is also a musician, and has recorded three albums of his original music. Kaichi Satake was raised in Texas and lives near Dallas, where he is presently owned by a bunch of cats, including Tweety, Tiggy, Smokey, Whisper, Slinky, Charlie, Minnie, Mickey, Madame, LaFonda, Lucy, Ethel, and Gracie.

This is the first book in my "Desperado" Western Noir series. Naturally, I think it's great, so go buy one and see for yourself! (^o^)
