1… DNF’d at 100 pages. This was so cringe and overall the plot was moving way too fast and not in a good way. Although this is a short story, we don’t sit with the characters and we only get weird descriptions of their feelings, some of which actually repeat in the text. The word bootylicious was used to describe the male lead’s hotness…that was not hot lol. Then everyone speaks weirdly, and I don’t know any child who would act like Halle does at 11. Personally this feels like an older person wrote this, unsure what the kids were up to these days.
I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were very entertaining. I loved the chemistry between Alexander and Juliette it was amazing and smoking hot 🔥! The storyline was very interesting, and twists and turns kept you wanting more. I could not put it down. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers. You will not be disappointed.
I was very touched by this story....I do not have an immediate family member with this illness....but reading this book opened my eyes in a good way...it's spiritual and emotional with the right amount of romance....Xander personal loss of his wife and unborn children could have made him a bitter selfish person....he got a second chance with a child and a woman who he never thought he would encounter in a million years....through all of the pain and suffering...love persevered...touching storyline
Just You is a very good interracial romance novel that earned a rating of four stars. This is a story of a mother struggling to help save her daughter's life, who was fighting cancer. In her struggled with finding donors for her daughter she found love along the way. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading heartwarming romance novels.
I actually enjoyed this book. I'm sure there are a lot of sperm donors that would not have been willing to get involved with a child that they helped "conceive in that manner. Dander was the exception to the rule. Steve on the other hand......there's always a jacka$$ in the bunch.
The story nice. Jules was a hot mess. She didn't know her own heart or her thoughts because was all over the place. The write would sometimes mix the now with the present and it was crazy since it should have only been about one. Because once you read more those statements fit nothing. It happened more than one. This reads like a draft.
