I really like this book. It is straight-forward and educational. The photographs are gorgeous. It is actually difficult to find the animals in some of the pictures, so I'm thankful for the guide at the end that shows where they all are. I highly recommend this title as a read-aloud or a read-alone for beginning readers.

This is a fascinating book for children or adults to read. A child has to study each page carefully in order to see the animal or bug that is hidden within, by natural elements. It is fun and educational. Animals hide in order to wait for food or to protect themselves. I really enjoyed this book!

This is a non- fiction text about camouflage. There are many photographs of animals disguised in their habitat. The book is a description of the photograph and asks the reader to find the hidden animal. This book would be a great way to integrate science with literature. The book could be read to introduce the topic. This book can also be used to introduce different types of writing. This book is not a story but rather facts. It can be used to introduce fiction and non-fiction.
