THIS BOOK AND ITS AUTHOR NOW BANNED BY SUCH AUTHORITARIAN REGIMES AS RUSSIA AND FLORIDA. READ THIS BOOK AND YOU WILL TICK OFF A CENSOR.

Cyberneurology is a wonderful technology. Now we have the ability to save our memories and personalities onto our own personalized computer through the state of the art procedure we all know as "Mind Capture." This infinitely safe procedure has given us all the opportunity to go beyond our bodies and enjoy a full life after we inevitably have to leave them. So come, my friend, and let us explore the wonders of your new life and the joys of Mind Capture, a perfection of science we can all enjoy togeth-toget-toge--zzzt...I do so hate those advertisements. Oh, you're a new one, aren't you? Come here. I'll show you what happens when something unknown crosses that beautiful line. Something great. Something you could never conceive of. Come...Come here...NOW!!!The Cyberneurology Unit at Mary’s Mercy is one of the finest in the country. That used to be a more distinctive title, when the fledgling science had had its bugs and failures. Now, even this ability to change the nature of a human’s life was becoming blasé and monotonous. The patients, often privileged, rich, and elderly, were beginning to blend together for Dr. Jeffery Langas. But the new case that has just fallen into his lap is unique. It will demand his full attention. And it will soon demand much more.

"[A] first-rate step forward in consciousness fiction. I'll definitely be recommending it to the science fiction lovers in my life—especially those who love Westworld, Neuromancer, and Snow Crash!"~~Marcos Antonio Hernandez, author of the Hispanic American and Edited Genome series

I have always enjoyed writing, but I imagine there are innumerable people who can say the same. There is a singular joy in creating a world the way one does in science fiction or fantasy, and a single challenge in trying to maintain the rules you have set forth for that world.
Since middle school, I've been trying to write a coherent, long-form story. I succeeded in this only while I was on study abroad in Japan, when I was able to start and finish "Utsukushii Kuro." It was a combination of English writing practice to keep my skills up and a gift to a friend. Following that came "Licantropa Sogno," more in tune with my preferences of subject, and "La Zorra Ciega," which was my first attempt at writing action scenes.
I have now released another 3 novels of more varied subjects. "Vox," has just been released, as a science fiction, pirate fantasy. It is also a writing experiment, a challenge I issued myself to try writing a story in which no one can speak. "Mind Capture" looks at a future where medical science has gone through one great advance, allowing human minds to be downloaded into computers, but deals with the idea of running into something science can't explain. "Sabem" is my take on the zombie motif, and will hopefully become my first series work. I go back a bit to the older idea of zombies as specifically-raised servants to a "master" that controls them, and explore the idea of enslaved undead, and everything that can go seriously wrong with that.
I am grateful to anyone who takes the time to read, and all the more thrilled to read any review of my work, even negative ones, so long as they are constructive. If you are kind enough to leave a review here, I would humbly ask that you leave the same at the Amazon pages, though I understand if you might be busy. Thank you all, and enjoi.

Admittedly, I didn't want to put reviews for my own works, but apparently everyone can see me leaving it blank because I "read" it, but haven't reviewed it. So, rather than leave this blank...

"MC" was fun, but difficult. I have always enjoyed contemplating the brain and the mind. What makes a person who they are? The biology or the ephemeral? Will science someday reach a point where the "je ne sais quoi" of a personality is measurable? Copy-able? Transferable? And how many other authors and directors have already tried this?!

While writing, I actively tried to avoid similar stories, for fear of being influenced and becoming derivative. Also while writing, I came across an article explaining the "Singularity" idea/theory/movement, and became interested. Since I felt this was interesting and significant enough on my thought process, I marked the point I was at when I read my first Singularity article with a seemingly random capital "S" in the middle of the chapter.

For the story, I tried to mix my optimism about future technology with some of my questions about the blind spots some scientists tend to have towards "what can't be measured by science" or, more accurately, what hasn't been measured or tested yet because it is dismissed out of hand. Not with literal examples, but with something a bit more useful to the horror/thriller theme I was in the mood to write.

I can't say it is the best story ever, but I did greatly enjoy writing it and still enjoy re-reading it.

Oh,it was goooood.
It was REALLLYY good.
I didnt expect it to be this good.

Marianne is a 16 year old kid who got into a fatal accident and they had to do a Mind Capture on her.

She started to manifest different reactions as a result of the MC,her recovery,if one could call that, was really quick as compared to other patients.

Anyway,the doctors were baffled.

Things moved on,events unfolded and what came next was a series of events that the doctors never ever expected.

It was really good.
