Stubborn, self-sufficient Diana and her friend venture into the Dark Woods on a quest to recover some stolen money. As night falls, a strange man appears and casts a spell over them. They are captured and embark on a journey of incredible lust and self discovery.

Diana is infuriated, humiliated. insanely aroused. Who do these black-skinned, white-haired, sex-oozing devils think they are making her into a broodmare and sex-slave? She won't do it. Who cares if the damned elves were created as sex toys for a goddess? Or if each and every dark elf that visits her is a well-trained, exquisite lover. Or if Commander Salin makes her mind and body hum with desire and pleasure she's never before experienced? She won't submit. She won't. Will she?

Commander Salin's men have all had their turn trying to tame the hellcat swordswoman. To a man, they've brought her to the heights of ecstasy but they've all had to rely on trickery or mystical attraction to bring her to heel. Even now, she refuses to submit and accept her new life. Never has a woman been so much trouble. Never has a woman so fired his blood. He will have her. He must. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be used, pleasured. Taken?

horny gorilla

So I was in the mood for some dark, forced seduction, paranormal action and a good friend recommended the Dark Elves series. I can honestly say that I haven't been this turned on by a paranormal series in a long time. The Dark Elves are an all male race that were created by their goddess, to be her consorts...for SEX!!! Yes, they are sexuall beings that are horny all the time. They emit pheromones that seduce females until they are begging for it.

makeout

Their bodies are ripped with muscles and their "manhoods" are super-sized and self lubricating!!! In the words of Borat, I say "Very Niiice!!" These Elves are even able to sense their partners arousal, and they aim to please!! Dark Elves are only able to have children with their true mate, so every woman that is brought to the Dark Elves are tested. They are given a new lover every nine days until their ego is prego!

hell yeah

This is all very organized. And the Elves even show the women great respect, as they F*ck the ever loving $hit out of them!! *Sighs*

come get me

Warning! Hot Paranormal Dubious Consent Sex!!

Hot, very hot read. Every scene was steamy.

I did go back and forth on my opinion of the main character though. Diana was very stubborn, and at times I really wanted her to stop fighting them and just give in, so it was a little tiring. Still, being stubborn myself, I did understand Diana's point of view also, after all she was taken and being held against her will. So I couldn't help but want her to keep resisting them as well.

This book turned me into a dirty birdy...

I wasn't really sure what to expect with this, I saw it in a friend's bookshelf *cough, cough, Sammy* and curiosity won over. My head was thinking "Sex elves? Really?" but that quickly changed.

I'm still a little torn between Gala and Diana, Gala seemed to just accept the fact that they were taken for the sole purpose of being impregnated while Diana put up a good fight (literally).

About halfway through though after Commander Salin comes into the picture and proves how different he is from the other I find myself wanting to strangle her. I liked her feisty nature towards the beginning but now it's just annoying and kinda rude. It got much better when she finally stopped being such a bitch to Salin and accepted him.

Then there's the pictures! WHOA! Totally did NOT see those coming. I'm just reading along and then BAM! There's an Elf getting all kinds of special kisses. I ended up reading even quicker to discover what the next picture would be. Some of them did interrupt my reading as I would just stare, and stare at them. God lord I'm going to hell...

Ugh. No. Just... No!

If these lover boys need mates that badly, wouldn't it be better to invite willing women - rather than constantly abduct "lucky" ladies who happen to be traveling through their forest? Because believe me, women would stop taking that route fairly quickly & then where would they find their future mates?

Terrible story. The unlucky women get passed around from one man to the next until they find their truemate.

If they don't find this man, it's off to the brothel where every man is free to use her.

But wait! It's for their own good. You see, the women have sexual needs.

Gag!

1 star.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!

This book is terrible! The plot is flat, but then you don't really expect much plot in an erotica novel. The characters had little or no development whatsoever, and from what reviews I've read, most people say the heroine is annoying. The sex scenes were too wham bam thankyou ma'am, and lets face it, the best part is the build up, after penetration, there isn't really anywhere else to go. I think most women read erotica for some spice, for something a little different and more engaging than porn. If a woman wants penetration in less than 30 secs, isn't that what a husband is for???

Changeling Press at its finest. Raw, imaginative and erotic. There are some limitations but the artwork by author Jet Mykles will rock your world. I purchased this series because I have always been intrigued by drow elves and outside of RA Salvatore's Drizzt series (which is sheer clean epic fantasy with some of best fight scenes you will EVER come across) there wasn't much else at the time.
This story has it all. Intrigue, BDSM training and a plot that ain't half bad. I didn't care anything about the h but the drow Doms and their universe rock.

Hey! I see all of these 4 star ratings and can't figure out why they are 4 instead of 5 stars. This was a Sexy, exciting, titillating, adventure story. I couldn't put it down. I read The End and went on to read the second book. Just now today, so leave me alone I've got another (hopefully) 5 star book to read. Lol!

ps...I wouldn't mind being captured by one of these elves myself....teehee!

This book can be summed up as two clueless women, a healer and a warrior, being abducted by dark elves. This all male race of dark elves force them into various sexual situations until they are impregnated by their “true mates.” It is a nonstop sex romp with an elvin race that was especially made by the Goddess Rhea to be sexual consorts. Although they are the perfect sexual companion, they lack the ability to reproduce females. So they abduct women and use magic to turn them into dark elf females and impregnate these stolen women who then birth dark elf males.

The plot does not make it clear why they need to abduct unwilling women. As many women from Earth would go willingly if these elf men just learned how to advertise their services correctly…. Instead this elf society kidnaps anything with the correct female anatomy from a very specific part of the woods and decides that it is okay to forcefully mate with them, one man at a time, until the women becomes pregnant. The impregnating of the woman signifies that she is the true mate of that particular elf. If no man impregnates her then she is sent to the concubine halls and forced to pleasure any male elf that is not already true mated.

The main character, Diana resists this fate at every turn, while her friend Gala suffers from instant Stockholm syndrome. Gala is so hooked on the prospect of an elf mate that she shames Diana for resisting and thinks nothing of leaving her family for this new exciting life. She even admits that if they had not succumbed to these dark elves, a similar fate would have overtaken them sooner or later. To make things weirder, the dark elves swear that they are so good at sex that they know exactly what women like, so it is never rape because they make sure the women are sexually willing. Basically they are considered the best sexual thing next to sliced bread, so no woman can really resist them.

The whole forced pregnancy thing and being passed around to multiple men until it happens seems very odd. A lot of these destined mates book think that happily ever after relationships are solidified with great sex and a family unit. There is little though behind the fact that if there is no birth control, every women would be barefoot and pregnant the vast majority of their lives. No matter how good the sex is, who would welcome that reality? Especially when you think of what happens to the offspring of these dark elves. How can every abducted women not only willingly become a broodmare but also a wife and caring mother? Although the plot tried to make it clear that after the initial spell these women were not hypnotized in any way, I did not believe it. For their society to thrive, every abducted women would have to get with the program and not resist. Therefore, a spell would be the fastest way to ensure continued compliance.

The best part about this story is the multiple perspectives and the initial lore behind the elf race of the raedjour. The worst thing about the story is the lack of believable romance and the continuous sex scenes that replace much needed character development. If there is more plot in these books I would not mind reading another one, as the sex alone does not make for a good book and gets boring after awhile.

Master and capture, enslaved by Dark skinned elves called Raedjour, Women are kept 'most of the time' men are killed after they are used for what ever pleasure they can give or work can be done, leaves any woman captured by this group to be enslaved for life. Though she may learn to love the dark elves and will be mated with one for life just going thru the process will make or brake the woman.

These books are explicit/sexual as seen in the description so this really does not need to be said. Most people who review do offer that info though. This series is Dark Erotic fantasy, so if you like that type of book your in luck.

The story line features few characters per Book one or two females are taken for this book it is really about the character Diana, will she be broken and truemated with Salin? Or Sent off to a bordello for those women who will not yeild and do not find a true mate. Imagine going thru the process of spending 9 days and nights with a different man, I guess with a day break inbetween each until you find your mate?? In this book one lady is mentioned beig said she went thru 40 men before she found her true mate,

Wow, unreal... after a true mate is found the woman will go thru a change which actually turns her into one of these elves herself. Each pregnacy takes 2 cycles 'years'? and comes in heat they call it every 5-6 years and lives a millenia or more... No females are ever born only males. So these captive, turn truemate, turn female elves are boodmares in teh longrun.. That is the break down of the story line 'exluding the relationship between each books main characters. i don't know that I call it falling in love in 9 days but just finding your life companion and lots of sex....

I can honestly say that I am at a loss understanding how this book has so many positive reviews. I enjoy porn as much as the next girl, and even erotica that has very little in the way of premise to justify the gratuitous smut, but this was just not good. The descriptions in the sex scenes were alright, but the 3D art that accompanied some of the key scenes actually detracted from the rest of the book due to what can only be described as an amateurish rendering style. The writing just didn't need pictures, and the author would have been much better off leaving them out.

The premise of kidnapped women brought for breeding with the monogendered dark elf race had potential, but was off putting in execution. I am actually rather a fan of well done dubious consent in fiction, but that requires drawn out seduction and considerations that are just not made here. Both women do not seem nearly as disturbed as would be realistic in such a situation. Though one woman at least shows more reluctance throughout the piece, it seems a thin veneer of unwillingness that is mostly a tendered for titillation's sake.

I stuck through until the end of the book, and even started on the second to try and give Mykles another chance, but the tale just doesn't have that much to tell. It could of gone somewhere, but I believe that the Dark Elves series is more likely to leave the experienced erotica reader put off and more than a little disappointed.

Getting lost in the Dark Forest might be more dangerous than originally thought. Finding themselves in that very situation, Diana and Gala were hoping to find a way out as soon as they could. When they were informed that was not an option and that they would be transformed and mated to one of the Dark Elves that lived there, Diana did what she always did, she fought the situation and everyone that put her in it. While Diana fought, Gala found a way to live with the consequences.

Book 1 ….. Elves created for sex, goddess leaves them behind on earth with no way to survive. They find a way to not only survive, but still have sex and find mates. Yeah, ok - took some time and a stretch of the imagination to get into this one. To have the abduction and rounds of sexual encounters end in finding a lifelong mate - surely there would be a better way, course then this would not be such an erotic story about finding mates in this extreme situation. At first this story comes across as nothing more than an excuse for sex, some how I kind of started to like the characters also enough to look forward to the next installment of the Dark Elves: Mastered.

I hated it enough to give it a low rating because it pissed me off so much. Hated Salin to death, that overbearing, falsely righteous dick. I'm sorry I read his crap story. That said, most everything else was great, it's just Salin and his bullshit were bad enough to make the whole book crap.

I wasn't sure if I would like this book or not. I mean, it's got an unusual premise and I thought it might be a little too much like poorly done Yaoi. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I did like it, very much.

Diana and her friend/traveling companion have been abducted by the raedjour, Dark Elves. Against their will the sorcerer has placed the spell on them to turn them into their kind. These elves are highly sexual, created to be consorts of a goddess, and only male children are ever born. Thus they need human women to breed with and to turn into the raedjour.

Diana has spent months being passed around for the men to discover if she is their truemate and bear their children. Needless to say, Diana isn't a big fan of this. She knows she can't stop feeling the lust, it's part of the elves' allure, but she still fights against every man. Until Commander Salin. Actually, she fights him too. ;-) Diana is pretty impressive in her stubbornness and sheer will. She drives Salin crazy and, because he's perfect for her, he infuriates her, too. At least until their very explosive time together.

This was a fun and very sexy read. Something I'll probably read again.

I really enjoyed this book, so much so that I ordered the other three books in a series that to date is comprised of four books

There was no preliminary introduction; jumping straight into the story line concerning an Elvin community of sexy highly evolved men. These dark Elfs had been left by their god and creator when she departed the realm. For the race to survive, the elves required human captive women to continue their line and so the story begins.

I found the book to be very well written, there were plenty of explicit sensual sexy moments throughout incorporated into a pleasing story line. Having read a number of very ordinary books in this genre of late, it was very pleasing to finally find one that was a cut above the others.

So why did I pick up this book again?
Ah,for the sex.

The book is nothing but pages and pages of S-E-X.

The plot is flat, more like missing. Two girls kidnapped by obsidian skinned elves and fucked time and again until their brains melt out.

So, the sex was exciting at first but after a few pages, it fell flat and I couldn't wait to finish the book so I could move on to something good.

The bad habit I've is it pains me somewhere deep in my heart to not finish a book, even if it's bad.

The 2 stars are for the sex & sex only!!!!

Am I going to read the next in the series.... highly debatable!!!

Read ONLY if you can't find any good book or if you want to read some porn

Not recommended for the weak hearted!!

What a brilliant book. The heroine was spunky and the hero macho and sexy - and both likeable.

Our lovely heroine carried around a lot of anger and let it be the focus of many acts in her life - including her sexual adventures with the raedjour. When Diana finally mets her match the sparks fly.

This book and series are highly recommended. After reading this book I've read the next three shortly after [you just want to know what happens with the raedjour next - as the series develops it gets really exciting].

No idea what got into me, but I read the 3 first books in this series in one go somewhere last year.

I'd call it a guilty pleasure, only there's nothing really in it that normally pushes my buttons. The whole coerced seduction thing isn't really for me, but I guess it did kinda work in the whole dark elves setting.

Also, it's illustrated, which is just plain weird, and totally increases the porntastic factor.

I guess it's not bad, you just have to be into the stuff.

This book had a great start. I expected it to be sinfully sexy which is how it started. It turned out to be a bit of a letdown however. The author teases you with peaks of things that are "Forbidden" and the one and only time the main characters have sex it is painfully vanilla even though they are soooo worked up. I would not have expected this based on the few moments of teasing during the book. It did not make it to my repeat list.

I really enjoyed this book and was intrigued by the world and the beings in it. This was really different from anything I've read in a long time. It was easy to imagine the characters since graphic pictures were included (huge plus!!!).

There was a lot of sex so be warned. I did like how Salin turned the tables on Diana. Hopefully we get to revisit them in the next book. I'll be reading it :-)

This books is boring. Not fantasy not sexy just Boring. The characters have absolutely nothing interesting or worth writing about. I think that the author should try to develop the characters more or just try to write steamy erotica.
