Jack Frost's goblins are trying to prevent the Green Fairies from doing their jobs properly.Rachel and Kirsty are determined to create a nature garden. Rachel and kirsty are going to help to grow a garden because they mayor is going to look at the place that they are going to grow a garden.Jack Frost's goblins made a mess with the trash. The Goblins took out all the flowers and trees that the volunteers planned. If they were not done with the garden then the mayor is going to make it into a parking lot. And they finished making the garden and the mayor liked the garden that they made.

Rachel and Kirsty return on holiday to Rainspell Island. They are shocked by how much litter there is on the beach and enlist the help of the fairies to help clean up the environment and learn more about environmentally friendly practices. The Green Fairies are: Nicole the Beach Fairy, Isabella the Air Fairy, Edie the Garden Fairy, Coral the Reef Fairy, Lily the Rainforest Fairy, Milly the River Fairy and Carrie the Snow Cap Fairy.

The fairies must be in a dream,
If they think they can be called 'green'.
My goblin servants are definitely greenest,
And I, of course, am by far the meanest.
Seven fairies out to save the Earth?
This idea fills with full of mirth.
I'm sure the world, has had enough
Of fairy magic and all that stuff.
So I'm going to steal the fairies' wands,
And send them into human lands.
The fairies will think all is lost,
Defeated again, by me, Jack Frost!

Miss 4 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

It was important to my oldest daughter that I read this book. She loves the rainbow magic fairies series. I was able to read it in just one short sitting. two girls work together with a group of volunteers to clean up a green space slated to be bulldozed into a parking lot. Unfortunately, a mean little goblin keeps getting in the way of their progress. If they can find the missing fairy wand and work hard on the park, maybe the mayor will change his mind and not build over it!

okay- this book has some obvious great messages. Don't litter, recycle things, green space is important. Some books adults can read and also be entertained. This one... Not so much. But 3 stars cuz my girl loves them.
