Mrs. Figg missed her babies who were now adults, so to cheer herself up she went to the beach to paint something pretty. When she discovered a little boat full of babies and a three-year-old girl, Mrs. Figg brought them ashore and took them into the lighthouse where she lived with her captain husband. The babies created quite a ruckus, setting off the foghorn and keeping Mrs. Figg very busy. Fun story with a funny ending and lovely illustrations.
