When six year old Jordan McKay dreams, he dreams big. Sitting in the park one day eating a popsicle, Jordan is suddenly launched into the future he had been manifesting in his mind. Finding himself lost and alone, he is shocked that he'd finally dreamed hard enough to make it come true. Found on the other side by Kenzie Ashcroft, she works to help bring him home, touching his soul in a way he will never forget. After dreaming himself back, he vows never to forget what the woman had done for him, promising to return the favor, even if it means dying. Now bound to Jordan by fate, Kenzie finds her life riddled w/ bad dreams. Every night when Kenzie falls asleep, she wakes up to a parallel life where things are not only normal, but eerily real. Struggling to keep the two worlds straight she grows up wondering who the shadow of a man growing up beside her really is. For More Info, visitwww.ParallelTheBook.comcom
"It is more than probable that I am not understood; but I fear, indeed, that it is in no manner possible to convey to the mind of the merely general reader, an adequate idea of that nervous intensity of interest with which, in my case, the powers of meditation (not to speak technically) busied and buried themselves, in the contemplation of even the most ordinary objects of the universe." - Edagr A. Poe
I live with my two cats and Husband of three years. I love to travel, ride horses, write, read, draw, drink wine, cook, each chocolate, and design. Never figured I'd become a writer but did, and no matter the day it's always good because of it. My somewhat unhealthy facination with the idea that we all die adds an oddly sweet twist to my love stories. Ever since I was old enough to understand this, I haven't been able to stop thinking of it, and what happens after. To me, I don't want to lose the love I've built in this life... Writing books ensure that this will never happen.
Check out my newest book, Knight Angels, available now for early release through Amazon and Barnes and Noble!
Okay, I was a bit skeptical at first as I started reading this book. How does a six year old who leaps into a 27 year old's body act like an adult? But as I continued to read, I totally became engrossed in the story.
It was Butterfly Effect meets Jumper. Well, those are the two movies that come to mind. But this story was definitely more than that. I was the story of fate and a love that was meant to be no matter what.
I'd have to say this was a much better story than Ebner's Feather series. A must read!
This was a really hard book for me to put down and I ended up reading it too fast. I loved it though, its certainly a book I will pick up and read again.
