There are some veeeeery tenuous links between anecdotes and Bible lessons. The children enjoyed reading the Bible verses in turn and the devotions are short enough to keep most peoples attention the whole time. Really American which prevented understanding at times and required explanation.

Picked this up in the Faith Mission sale section so no complaints on value for money. Aimed at an American audience so some 'conversion' required but otherwise pitched well for our current crowd. Can't think of any of the lessons I'd disagree with either.

Best one year devotional book ever. Feel sad that it got over.
