Cómo los niños ven a sus madres cuando están muy agotadas y gruñonas🤭 Fue un bonito final cuando la pequeña abraza a su madre y le dice cuánto la quiere, luego todo vuelve a la normalidad
I was a little nervous when my daughter (who incidentally doesn't read yet) picked this out at the library. While I approached it with skepticism, I liked it. It made me feel normal (weird is normal, right?) to think that I'm not the only mom out there who gets cranky. And I hope it helped my kids understand what they can do to help change me from a weird monster into a kind, loving mother again.
This is such a cute story with entertaining and beautiful illustrations. Told from the child’s voice, she complains that her mother is weird. The illustrations are actually expressing the moods that her mother experiences. Eventually, the child goes to her friend’s house and makes a very unexpected discovery.
