Horrifying and disgusting. It was well-written but the subject matter was disturbing. Here are some of my thoughts: No statute of limitations on child rape. If a victim of child rape commits suicide the rapist is convicted of murder, no statute of limitations. Anything positive I may have been reading about Hawaii or other aspects of the characters was completely overshadowed by the negative aspects of this book. I really disliked it.
