A great in-depth introduction to the Baha'i Faith and it's teachings. It contains all the basic concepts, history and the central figures of the Faith under different clearly-labeled chapters, with the inclusion of many quotes.

Very clear and definite history of the Bahai Faith that will help others garner a new found knowledge on the history of this beautiful religion.

A multitude of topics that range from the Central Figures of the Bahai Faith to details regarding the principles that underline the very essence of the religion. A few principles are:

The oneness of mankind

The oneness of God and Religion

Harmony of Religion and Science

Equality of Men and Women

What is interspersed with these principles are other very fine detailed explanations, among others, that deal with Personal Conduct of one's own self, Man's True Nature, Free Will, World Unity and how it is to be attained, and the Relation to the Bahai Faith and religions before it, etc.

What is explained in the latter portion of the book is the details surrounding the life of The Bab (The Gate) and Baha'u'llah (Glory of God). The history of the two manifestations from the 19th century and their revelations to the eastern world, has promulgated a new essence in the history of religion never seen before. What was established in Persia, modern day Iran, has now spread to the corners of the world, intertwining the east and the west.
