In Dead Air, a sports reporter is determined to use cyclist Will Ross's limelight for her own career, while a killer is bent on taking care of some unfinished business. As he struggles to recover from tragedy, Will must find out whether a single ride can change his life and whether he is capable of taking the ultimate revenge.
Not the same since the end of the last book. No more appear to have been written. Hate spoilers. so you might not want to read on, but when you kill off the supporting character, it leaves a hole in the heart of the story that is hard to get around. Granted to you want to root for the surviving character to find the will to go on in the face of tragedy. But it's too gut wrenching for such a light-hearted series.
