The Pattern Sourcebook was recommended in a Substack I read. It's an invaluable resource not only for surface design, but also for designing in general. I was surprised to see textile designs from Henry Moore; I wouldn't have imagined his sculptural forms could translate to fabric. Because Drusilla Cole includes work that spans a century, seeing progressive change in fashion and design is clear and interesting. Included are textile designs as well as wallpaper and china designs. This is a useful and pleasing reference.
