Wildt Hansen has the uncanny ability to understand and convey, with great detail, the complex workings of the human mind. Conscious Living helps the reader understand that they have a greater calling in life. Finding that calling is only part of the battle. There are countless strengths and possibilities when we unequivocally harness these strengths toward the realisation of our Greater Purpose. At the same time, as anyone who has ever tried to take on a lofty goal, there are also countless distractions and barriers. Conscious Living gives the reader a roadmap of their own mind and how to identify and overcome our impulses and tendencies toward distraction and self-sabotage.
This book is written in language which is simple, inspiring and easily accessible. The reader will gain detailed insight into the workings of his/her mind and feel drawn to embark on the fabulous and rewarding journey of "Taking Action" toward the realisation of their "Great Work."
One of those books you feel like recommending to friends, relatives and clients!

For you to live consciously and start walking your own path like all of humanity's great heroes before you, first you have to wake up. And to wake up, first you have to realize you are sleeping. :) In this book, Robin helped me realize that I am sleeping. He was in a way my guru, my dispeller of darkness, and made it clearer to me that we/ society have enveloped us in a veil of distraction that is meant to do exactly that: distract us from the truth, from the calling that has been calling and calling, only to reach our out-of-office voice mails: "The person you are looking for is currently unavailable." Aka scrolling on Facebook mindlessly, eating junk food and adding impurity to their system etc. This book is a very practical guide of removing junk of all sorts from your life, leaving space what truly matters: what the author calls "Your Great Work", which will become clearer and clearer once you cleaned your room a bit:) Thank you, Robin, for this wonderful book that took my hand and guided me when I didn't know which way to go;)

Having seen the dark night of the soul myself, I know what a huge challenge it is to turn your life around and gain authentic success after almost all that you thought was important has fallen apart.

I think I can therefore resonate deeply with this book. It talks about the deep challenges on the way to authentic success, and how to make it to the other side despite of everything.

There is so much that Wildt Hansen talks about that I have lived by for several years and that I have taught to my coaching clients since I made my big shift. Yet it was very refreshing to see these principles expressed in such simple language.

There are many books about making the leap to a more authentic way of living. This book is to me the next level. It talks about how to succeed and deal with the challenges once you’ve made that leap.

Fabulous read! Loved every second of it. Clear, precise, advice. Ploughed thru it in three hours flat. Direct simple style, isn't on an ego trip to impress me so that I'll go to his conferences! Quite the reverse, he just wants me to do better, immediately! Packed with revealing insights that instantly helps me put more top-spin on my game. I'm not a good reader, usually don't finish a book, can't remember a single thing from the few large and long self-help bibles that were thrust into my lap over the years. But this was totally awesome! Big up, Robin!

What is the mission of your life? What are you in this world to accomplish? What is the great work that you only can achieve?
These are the questions that this book helps us answer in order to find meaning in our existence.
However, this is not a book that is trying to tell you what you should be doing: this is your job. The book instead offers encouragement, support and practical advice to those set to achieve their dreams and it celebrates hope and focus in the pursuit of what makes us truly happy. After all, happiness is not found in the result only, rather in the process of achieving the result. Therefore it is essential not to see the possible setbacks as signs of failure and to know how to persevere and trust ourselves. The author takes the reader by the hand and gently gives us practical and hopeful advice on how to pursue our mission. He invites us to avoid distraction, noise, instant gratification and to focus on what is truly important in the big picture. The author often quotes episodes of his own experience in pursuing his ambition to become a writer and gives us hopeful examples of how to cope under any circumstance. The motto here is not the usual work hard, no pay-no gain, rather a gentle and yet imperative encouragement to fulfil our true selves, to give ourselves credit for what we can uniquely offer the world and how to achieve happiness in the process.
The book is clearly written, accessible and non judgemental, so you will read it thinking its words come from a close friend. Most importantly, it will change the way you look at your life and at the value of your time.
I highly recommend this book to anyone.

I feel like this book has helped me discover hidden meanings in my every day struggle while helping me to consciously choose my path.
“Conscious Living” has a very different tone and style compared with Wildt Hansen’s previous work, “The World”. “Conscious Living” is lighter, and the stories he tells in this book help readers remove any concepts that could prevent them from discovering the greatness within.
He shows how we impose limits on ourselves, without even realizing it and how to identify and overcome them in the long run. He reveals how we get in our own way and don’t allow success to happen by predefining our points of reference thus not seeing the opportunities that show up in our life.
Through this book, the writer aligns the reader with the dawn of a new age of human reflection and thinking – an age that we see arising slowly but steadily. He has the gift of making self-discipline seem the best ally that leads humans into the effortless flow of life.
Conscious Living has the power to make readers question their reaction patterns by shedding light on the entanglement of our thinking.
Reading his work makes one stop and reflect upon the movements of human consciousness and the deep and complex ways it works.

The content beautifully weaves theory with practical exercises, and knowing just a little about the complexity of the author's mind, the language used in the book shows great consideration for the reader.

I felt indignation when references were made to the danger of information. As an editor, I might not have let this pass in a work I perceive as scientific. I witnessed the author’s pain as he looks helplessly at unconsciousness.

I absolutely loved the allegories! They are beautifully and carefully chosen.

Overall, it is a light book. Easy to read in its entirety on a rainy Sunday. Easy to understand and well-structured. Full of truths, it serves as a reminder and inspiration for those who have already reached certain realizations on their journey.

First...I "got" the World and I loved the journey. After that I decided to "Walk the Path of my Great Work" with the hope that this book and its philosophy would eventually speak to me. And it spoke to me indeed, with an unique fluid style that Robin Wildt Hansen uses in his writing.
"Conscious Living" is that kind of book that after starting to read it you can't leave it from your hands before finishing it!
We should all decide to walk the Path of our Great Work making the world a better place and becoming healthier, stronger, and more authentic persons.

This book has given me a lot of understanding of the life as itself. It motivated me in various ways and made me even surer, that anything that happens is for a good reason. Another thing I like about it is that both "experienced spiritual people" and also "normal people" will find their way and understanding to this book. If you are now in the period of thinking about your life and not really being sure about something, this will definitely be a good pick... :)

This book is written with amazing clarity and focus. I find all information is most accurate which makes it a must have for anyone in search of consciousness and Conscious Living. Everything is explained in detail, in a meticulous way. However, I find it is so meticulous that it somehow lacks freedom and turns the reader into an obedient child.
A book about freedom to be yourself which I find to be anything but free.

This is very different from other self-help books I've read. Robin Hansen presents so clear the deceitful reality in which we indulge ourselves all the time, living unconsciously and missing the very important essence of life. He manages to make the reader perceive and understand the obstacles that prevent him/her from taking action and from living a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Great work!

A very good book, with valuable tips for improving your performance in whatever you plan to do. It may generate food for thought related to your life in general – to me at least that happened. It’s easy to read and I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a better person or cares about achieving something special in life.

A book that motivated me, exactly in the right moment, to follow my dream and to persevere to accomplish it. I am proud of myself. The book is like a strong inner voice that makes you decide to work for your dream and to not give up.

Since the purpose of the book is to make you take action, I have to agree that in the end the number of hours dedicated to your work and the state you have while doing it, have a tremendous impact on what you'll achieve.

Amazing book

This is one book which puts enough emphasis on thinking as well as action . The way he writes about the importance of the process while balancing the goal , is what makes this book stand out!!

"Conscious Living" rises to the promising heights of its title by combining psychology, self development and spirituality in a way that is clear and alluring for the modern man. The terminology helps the reader easily grasp concepts regarding human nature, life mission and pursuing authentic desires.
The book is centered around taking action to accomplish that which brings meaning to our lives and offers practical advice on how to discover what is important to us on the long term and overcome failure factors which may arise. However, I think the integrating the described notions and practices in day to day life can facilitate pursuing all kinds of goals.
Overall, this is not a regular self development book, it actually motivates you to take a hard look at your life and take responsibility for becoming a better and ultimately happier person.
I enjoyed it very much and recommend it to anyone willing to change their life for the better.
