Land of Giants offers new adventures in Scandinavia for your campaign. Covers materials for both entirely "Northman" campaigns full of Thanes and Jarls, and for your British Knights to come adventuring in the Northern lands. Contents include the creation of Northman characters; descriptions of Scandinavian kingdoms (as they might have been in Arthur's days); culture, customs, and religion; map and guide to the area; and several adventures.
Well, it's a good book for the system, I can definitely see how it can be used with the basic Pendragon rules, but the info on the setting is of two kinds: either scarce, or simply inaccurate. The Land of Giants in this setting is different than any other take on the North I ever read. I prefer the info I found in GURPS: Vikings. Also, this book is rather thin. There's not much there, I found the two major points - the adventures of Grendel and the Barrow Dragon, were worthwhile, but I still think that they took too much of the whole thing. So, a good sourcebook, a good read, but I was expecting something better.
