چیزی که درمورد ضرب‌المثل‌ها برای من جالب است اینکه خیلی کم در فیلم و سریال شنیده‌ام و تصور می‌کنم در روزمره چندان کاربردی نیست. البته که نمی‌توانم مطمئن بگویم و شاید در گفتگوهای واقعی کاربردی باشند.

Proverbs, just like idioms are another way to learn English and to enrich conversation and in this book listed 101 commonly used proverbs in English for nonnative to aid them learning English and to converse more confidently. As usual, the touch of Mario Risso in this book is important as ever helping nonnative to learn English with its humorous cartoon in each proverb.
