Published in 2014, so relatively up to date as of the time of this writing in 2023. Nice photography and infographics. Good vocabulary. Good factual points. No factual discrepancies noted, other than some numbers have shifted a little in the last ten years, as is to be expected. The text does a good job of citing when the numbers were taken, which is excellent in helping students learn to manage their facts. All in all recommend. Perhaps a little dry for most students under 5th grade.
