It was a long time ago i read any book by Carole Mortimer, But Oh how i have missed her. She is amazing when it comes to delivering stories about power of love and i have many favourites of hers as i have read over 80 books by her.
"An Enigmatic Man" are a full pleasure romantic comedy in the own style of CM`s.The chef cook Crystal Webber gets promised by her bestfriend that a holiday in her brothers castle is a perfect chance of having peace. But Crystal instead meets the cruel-looking and brooding Sam Barton and realizes that he is the brother she are supposed to live with the next few days-and things doesn`t get better when sparks fly between them.I recommend this book for those who want to read a quick light-hearting romance that completely warms your heart. I definitely enjoyed this Keeper..!

I read the Arabic version of it years ago but I can't remember if I liked it or not so I'm giving it ⭐⭐⭐ to be on the safe side.

This book promised so much at the start but then it all went flat. The hero suffered a complete personality change and the heroine, who admittedly had suffered so much, still remained pathetic and wimpy right at the end of the book.

I like the book. I enjoyes the story it waa cute. Both characters were excellent.

2.5 stars. Lame! Hero's personality was all over the place. If he had stuck with the dark/brooding it would have been better. And h was just an idiot to even be attracted to the H so quickly given his shifts of mood. Made no sense for the "love" to happen so soon. Won't read this author again

Buku ini baru aku baca fresh beberapa hari yang lalu, hasil minjam salah seorang teman dengan motivasi, "pokoknya habis skripsi gue harus minjem dan baca novel terjemahan!" terus dikasih pinjam dua buku dan salah satunya ini.
Novel ini bercerita tentang kisah Crys yang diundang menginap di rumah kakak sahabatnya, Molly. Kakak sahabatnya itu namanya Sam. Pas pertama datang ke rumah Sam, Crys bingung karena rumahnya kok seram amat, kastil tapi benar-benar nggak dirawat. Ditambah lagi pas awal ketemu, Sam ngasih impression yang buruk banget buat Crys dan Crys juga nya malah gampang ketakutan, terus malah pingsan. Crys yang pingsan digendong masuk ke dalam rumah, nah dari sini deh mulai kisah mereka berdua.
Menurut aku so-so sih. Awalnya lumayan menarik tapi yaa nggak ada adegan hore-hore loh, HAHA (Aman nih buat 17 ke bawah, aman). Terus juga aku bingung kenapa bisa instant banget sih rasa cintanya? Beberapa hari doang man! Lalu di antara Crys dan Sam bisa muncul benih-benih cinta? Hmm..
Tapi ya, novel ini bisa loh bikin aku tahan buat membacanya sampai habis. Iya, sampai habis! Meski ditahan-tahan tutup-buka buku, akhirnya kebaca juga sampai habis haha.

boring....co nya suka marah2 gak jelas...emang sih si sam pernah di kecewakan wanita...tapi gak ampe segitunya kaleee....
ce nya juga tipe pasrah sih...gak ada fighting nya...membosankan...!!
