Werewolves... I love writing about these guys.
Tall, gloriously sexy, and dangerously man-like most of the time . . . when a full moon is added they become tall, gloriously sexy and dangerous beasts. Picture the image of a male body glistening in the moonlight as he shape-shifts into what his DNA codes him to be. And he only has eyes for... you.
My Were heroes are take charge guys with relatively normal occupations:cops, district attorneys, detectives, emergency room surgeons. They can be quite beastly during the full moon phases, but they must also always possess certain qualities I would want if they were to be my wolves. High on that list are loyalty, nobleness of heart, and the desire to help others in need. When those qualities are mixed in with the terms tall, sexy, and dangerous . . . well . . . I'm hooked. Hopefully, you will be, too.

Parker interrupted the gang cruelly attacking Chloe. He was fighting his own battle with the beast inside. She finally awoke in his hospital. She felt calmed by this man she didn't know. She was in pain, beaten, and suffering from tremors. He worked at the hospital and had a little pull to stay in the room with her since she had no one else they could contact.
He didn't want to leave her. His beast wanted to stay and yet to run loose after finding and punishing the ones responsible for her condition. Would she go through the same pain and changes he suffered and was still dealing with at the moon's call?
The author has created a unique world of weres, good and bad, and the world of humans changing. The changes are not instantaneous, or easy. As the mystery of the beings unravels it is difficult to tell the good from the bad. Trust isn't easy. This is a compelling read with characters either good or bad and you'll love or hate them—once you figure out where they play in their world.

Great book!!! Kept me on the edge of my seat!!! Had a hard time putting this one down! This book claimed alot of late nights!!:-)

I just love this series and I can't wait for more to come! It has every thing, romance, danger, Shifters, and of course a hot guy to think about lol.

This author seems to be able to tempt me to get into whatever she has in store for a reader behind the cover. Parker takes you on this quest with us right behind him seeing what he finds out. Chole also draws our attention especially since there is all that chemistry. She also needs her "dream" or disaster could happen. As the chemistry heightens this author gives us thrills and intrigue with these two. You are pulled to the edge as it gets closer and closer the danger does. Excellent tale that will give you everything you crave in a novel of this kind.

I loved, loved, loved this book!! One of my favorites for sure! I really enjoyed all the characters in this story and felt giddiness over past characters showing up. Each one is so dynamic. This author puts a bit of a different spin on her wolf shifters which I immensely appreciated. Wolf Trap is fast-paced with plenty of excitement. A definite must-read for werewolf fans!!

Did not enjoy this book at all. There was too much internal dialogue between the two main characters and not enough interaction between any characters. It seemed like a lot of ping pong thoughts. Not much to get and keep the readers attention. Had to make myself finish, but was not happy with the story at all. It got a little better about the last chapter.

Wolf Trap by Linda Thomas-Sundstrom is part of Silhouette's "Nocturne" line. It also appeared to be part of the "Wolf Moons" series. The book included a bonus short story: "Wolf Bait".
Dr Parker Madison fears he's losing his mind. For several months now, the full moon has called forth a beast within him, a werewolf. Desperate to find out if he's a lone anomaly, he is drawn to the estate of wealthy Judge Landau. There, Parker hopes to find answers to his questions. Instead, he finds a young woman who's been brutally beaten and mauled. Parker turns his back on his quest to take the woman to the hospital where he works in hopes they can save her life. He feels compelled to keep vigil at her bedside, feeling inexplicably drawn to her.
During brief periods of consciousness, Chloe Tyler is aware of only two things: unrelenting pain, and the steadying presence of the man who carried her to the hospital. She wants to tell him what happened, but even Chloe is unsure just what has become of her and how her life is now changed.
Oh, boy. This was marketed as paranormal romance. Spoiler alert, it was not. It was certainly paranormal, but there was nothing remotely romantic about it. I don't consider insta-lust or imprinting to be romantic. Plus, the main characters didn't actually "meet" until the penultimate chapter of the book. Of course, Parker found Chloe and took her to the hospital and stood guard, but she was unconscious throughout. This was virtually the entire book! It was mind boggling and frustrating to read. Even more frustrating was the bonus short story. Do you expect a bonus short story to be at the end of the book? So do I! Consider me astonished, therefore, that the bonus story was at the beginning. I was completely confused. I kept wondering when Parker and Chloe were going to put in an appearance, as I was reading about Jenna and Matt. When I figured it out, I was Not Happy. I don't always choose to read bonus content, but I felt like I was tricked into it. The bonus "Wolf Bait" was just as frustrating as the main story. Dr Jenna James had a crazed female patient in her psychiatric hospital, and Detective Matt Wilson (a former doctor himself) was there to consult. The author made it seem that Matt suspected the woman was a werewolf, transitioning for the first time, while making it out that Jenna was clueless. Spoiler alert, Jenna is a damned werewolf herself! Also, one could infer that Chloe was the woman in the ward, but it's never made clear.
This book (both stories) basically annoyed me from start to finish. I am disappointed and irked by it. Two stars. I would have given it one, but the writing was good.

Welcome back to Miami . Dr Parker Madison is starting to turn and the poor man doesn't know what the heck is going on.. When he finds Chloe in the park hurt and basically left for dead . Parker doesn't know what is going on but all he knows that he has to protect her and get her somewhere safe . While he figures out what is going on with him . When there is a war going on Parker must choose a side and when he helps the Landeaus out he finds there are more werewolves out there then just him. Will he join the pack and help himself and Chloe in the process . Will they realize that they belong together.
I truly like Parker and Chloe , they are such diverse characters and very complex. Parker a doctor who has a totally different side to him , a darker side a werewolf side . He is conflicted and has denied himself contact with humans cause he is scared of hurting them . He is also sexy as sin and man you want to climb him like a spider monkey . Chloe is such a sweet woman but she has also is so strong. She wants to fight for what she wants and won't let anyone get in her way . I love Mrs Landeau she is so sweet but so tough. She won't let any man push her around when it comes to the werewolf life .
This is a book you can read in an evening and it starts just after Red Wolf ends . The characters are well written and you will love each of them in their own way . The author takes us on a roller coaster ride , with many twists and turns that will keep you turning pages all evening long . I will admit I was tearing up a few times through out this book and then I also had to fan myself a few times also . So if you want a great werewolf book that will keep you reading all night this is the book for you . It is intelligently written and also has a mystery along with the romance , which is rocky sometimes but man when they get together look out the sparks will fly .

OMG, well I think it's safe to say linda thomas-sundstrom has done it again!
This is the second book in the wolf moons series. However I haven't read book 1 and at no point did I feel lost or confused. The first book in the series is red wolf for anyone that would like to start with the first book. I myself will be reading the first book to find other more about the character tory.
In this book we meet Dr parker maddison who is new to the change. He has come to accept that he is a warewolf and started to welcome the change. He does however feel alone.
Is he the only one?
How did this happen?
He has so many unanswered questions, that is untill he comes across chloe who has been left for dead in a park.
The characters are really likeable and parker and chloe have an interesting chemistry. They find themself's drawn together but never really properly meet and introduce themself's untill near the end. It really worked with the storyline and made their story unlike what I have read before , which I really enjoyed.
The storyline wasn't predictable so I liked the fact that you never really know where it was going to take you.
Linda thomas-sundstrom really knows how to write a good warewolf book. I was hooked from the first chapter excited to read on and find out what would happen next.
Her books are always beautifully written capturing your imagination from the start.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good action packed warewolf romance.

Parker spends his life saving people, and even in his altered state , that seems to still be ingrained.
When Chloe is attacked, she finally gives in to the fact that she may not survive the ordeal, she's begins shutting down internally.
And then she is miraculously hauled back to the living and her world turns upside down and so does Parker's.

Parker is a werewolf and ends up saving Chloe who was attacked and bitten. While trying to find out more about himself and what he becomes he runs into a whole pack. Lots of action as the pack is fighting another group. Fast and fun and I look forward to more in this series. Loved it!

June 3, 2010Chloe has been attacked and is changing into a werewolf when Parker meets her. He helps her with the transformation and then feels that he has to protect her. The one who attacked her is still after Chloe. Then Parker and Chloe realize that they are mates and belong together.
