IMPLACABLE

Argumento:

Based on goodreads friend Gina's review, I decided to buy and read this book. In spite of the little to no descriptive narrative, I enjoyed it, although I got no real sense of the times she was writing about (1870's). I like the occasional young adult book, which is how this book reads. It reminded me of how most of us operate when with others. We concentrate on the dialogue (conversation) and what's going on around us rather than noticing and taking in the environment. I particularly enjoyed the way Ms. Smith had her characters stay true to the morals of the late 19th century and didn't try to make any of the them indulge in mid-to-late twentieth century morals, although she skirted around them from time to time. For that alone, I will read another.

3.5 Stars - This book has many qualities I look for in a romance. For instance, the heroine dressing as a boy, and a secondary love story. But, and it's a j-lo sized but, it's as if the editor took out all the sex scenes... Ok for some but a little too tame for my taste. This is also my first western.. I liked it and will be exploring this good sized niche in the romance world.

Adventure and Love with the Rangers

Enjoyed another western romance by Bobbi Smith. Excitement and suspense as well as comedy mixed with love. Two Texas Rangers finding love while fighting the bad guys.

Good book, two rangers two love stories one more focused than the other. Didn't feel like I really knew what either ranger looked like so not enough description. Lots of action overall good book
