When I'm not writing I like going to concerts. Music is a big part of my life, I've played bass guitar since I was a teen. I love nature and enjoy hiking and working with causes that help protect our planet and wild animals.

I have loved books all of my life and have always enjoyed escaping the ordinary world by getting lost in a good book. I read a lot of different genres of books but have fallen in love with MM. I support the gay community and hope one day people will see that love is love and that it is a beautiful thing no matter your gender, race or religion.

I am an avid animal lover and have quite a collection of pets in my home. I love ancient history and have studied Alexander the Great as well as Egypt and it’s pharaohs. I also am very interested in angels and have researched them and will put that to use in future books.

I hope that my readers continue to fall in love with my characters and that my stories touch their lives and bring them happiness.

I liked this , it was a short really sweet read .
Because it was short I would have liked to know more about the characters , and some times their speech patterns seemed a little strange/wordy .
But it was exactly what I needed after a couple of darker reads , I would check out other work by this author .

Leggero e dolce! (Light and sweet)

This is a charming story of an unforeseen circumstance that ensues as a result being in the wrong place but at the right time. For Oliver, a nineteen year old college student who works hard to make ends meet, his life is about to drastically change after he overhears something that apparently he shouldn't have. He's going to need protection from a rival Italian family. Who better to keep Oliver safe? Hmm, how about Amondo, the Italian hottie who's a regular at Vinny's Restaurante, and just happens to be the son of the family doing the protecting!
The rest of the story is tornado of occurrences as this household of macho, overbearing, and somewhat frightening men, disrupt Oliver's organized, simple life. As Oliver spends more time with the Bosso family, he starts to realize that they treat him as if he belongs there. Of course, flames are gonna start to sizzle with Amondo as well, seeing as the two of them share a bedroom. There are tender and heartfelt moments between the two guys as they start to fall for each other; Oliver reveals a painful part of his past to Amondo. I have to say that I thought the men of the family—Tony, Dino, and especially Cristiano, Amondo's dad, reminded me of my meddling old Italian aunts. I also enjoyed that the story had taken place in New York as I'm from there myself.
In true Grein Murray fashion, she will never let her readers down and not give these two adorable guys their HEA. I enjoyed this light and non-complicated story. I recommend reading Capturing Oliver with a nice cannoli and a cappuccino ~

Jesus.

Somebody call the smarm police.

The dialogue is awful, the characterization limp, the plot makes very little sense, and the romance is swift and unrealistic.

And then there's the writing. From errors to laugh-inducing cheese.

"The thought of wearing those preppy close made Oliver cringe, literally."

"...and rubbed his perturbing erection... "

"'Maybe you can hook me up with a hot Italian, hung stud.'"

Seriously. What is so difficult about putting words in correct sequence?

And here are my two favorite lines.

"'I should've stopped you from leaving the other day, but I was so scared to let the last walls around my heart crumble away.'"

"'When you left the other night, it felt like someone stabbed me in the heart.'"

It's difficult to write a review for a book that everyone else seems to love but you only liked. I guess, I just didn't connect with the characters, I found the dialogue somewhat unnatural, I found the plot to be a little cliche. That said, I did not dislike the book. I liked it, I just didn't love it.

Awesome

I love this book I could not put it down. I felt really bad for Oliver he was just trying to live his life with no family until he meets Amando and his family. These two are so cute together u will fall for them and there chemistry together.

Take a poor college student working as a waiter with deceased parents; add one good looking son of a mafia head of family who is too shy to ask waiter out even though his father encourages him to do. Dad's solution. Kidnap the waiter and have son be his "keeper". Oh yes, that would cause me to fall in love with the son. That would cause me to think of the father as the family I no longer had. Oliver thinks all of this and never tries to contact the police even though he is allowed to go to his job under supervision. There is a mafia goon who slaps Oliver and Oliver is expected to apologize to the goon for challenging the goon. The character of the son is two dimensional. I felt nothing for him and could not see what Oliver saw in him. Oliver had no sex appeal and I could not see what the hot son saw in Oliver. If this had been a longer story, I would DNF it. I wish the author would rework this story, adding depth and realistic emotions making it an interesting read.

Ehh

The story was okay, it was a bit cheesy and very predictable but whatever. The reason for my three star rating was the horrible over use of periods as opposed to commas, the writing style made it feel very stilted and hard to enjoy, especially the sex scenes.

Example;
"Oliver grabbed their ***** in one hand and started to stroke them together. Amondo leaned his head back. He looked stunning. His dark silky hair had fallen onto his forehead. His full lips turned up at the corners in an almost smile."

So painful.

Trouble leads to love

Oliver is a struggling student and waiter. Amando is a rich son of a mobster. Both have feelings for each other but are going to slow in making a move so Amando's dad cooks up a scheme to hurry things along. This story was very touching and tugged at my heart strings. I enjoyed this story and melted at the love Amandos father had for him. Totally worth the read and I would recommend this story to everyone

This is a beautiful story about love and trust, Oliver's on his own working and surviving after his parents death a year ago. Amomdo enters Oliver's place of work and sets Oliver's world in for a spin. This is a Fantastic Book.
