It’s said that the first five years with someone is the hardest because you’re learning that person and it’s a different experience, but do the rules still apply when the whole relationship is based on a lie? Adrianna is the epitome of beauty and the love of Rock’s life. With a feisty attitude, a big personality, and even bigger hair to match, she’s every man’s dream, but only one man has her…, or so he thinks. Adrianna isn’t the person that everyone thinks she is, and the skeletons she is hiding in her closet would put a graveyard to shame. So what happens when a blast from her past knocks her perfect life off its axis and sends her world into chaos? Can she keep up her seemingly perfect reality, or will her life become an unending nightmare? After all the drama that Rock has endured throughout his life, he felt that his hardships and search for love were over, but when the woman that he plans to spend the rest of his life with turns out to be a complete stranger, can he continue to ride the wave with her in hopes that things will go back to the way they once were, or will all the secrets that Adrianna is harboring be too much?
Take a ride with this pair as they try to get a grip on reality while battling deceit, new love interests, and enemies they never knew they had. Will they be able to put back together the pieces of their failing relationship, or will the drama and pain all be too much to handle?
This book pick up right where the last installment left off, with nothing but drama and more drama. Really enjoyed the storyline and the characters, then add in the lies, secrets, hatred and jealousy made a great read. Held my attention to the end and I still wanted more. Glad everyone got their happy ending, but still was some unanswered questions. Seemed a little rush at the end but overall still a good read and maybe more to come. Job well done Porschea Jade.
Love the continuation of Rock's & Adrianna's story from Something about the Hood in Him. Rock was more mature and shined on his own. Couldn't believe Adriannas ass... it was hard to have sympathy for her. Zilla (non-gangta ass got just what he was looking for. Loved that ending was more realistic that fairytale. #TeamQuence from day 1. Ms. Jade is an excellent writer...all her stories I have read so far..had my emotions all over the place!!
Was a great book I’m glad zillan got what he deserve but dang what happened to Tamika though and also everyone were cool at the end very mature and strong as a whole see you can be cool with an ex and they new person they with just got to be around adult who forgives and are very mature
Zilla got everything he deserved. Rock was a good man. But DRI I couldn't stand sorry. The nurse Rock was with I liked her. Aries didn't play her Isis. Tamika and Zilla. I enjoyed both Books
This was a roller coaster ride to the end. But a beautiful ending to a great story. The crew stuck together to the end and showed the meaning of real friendship. Once again Great job PJ
I’m not going to lie. I do not like the way this book ended. I felt the “closure” or apology was too rushed and not genuine. The very next chapter was the gender reveal then THE END. We deserved a better ending than this now. Smh.
Man I'm happy everyone got a happy ending...im glad zilla got what he deserved..Happy that no matter what Rock and Dri was still cool with each other..Great job!!!
