Just like you can't judge a book by its cover, you shouldn't judge a librarian on the choice of her bike. Jack is a university librarian with a penchant for sleek racing bikes. When she says she's from Birmingham, you can be sure she doesn't mean Alabama. Trash is a blue-blooded American, his charter's lawyer, and their information gatherer. That Jack thinks he's a bit of alright is of no consequence, because with an ocean between them, and such differences in interests and backgrounds, it would never work. Would it? Until a rival MC declares war, and everything changes. Could it?
So I realised Id read this series out of order......but it was completely fine as I could pick up the basics of what went on on book 1 (which I am going to go back and read!)
Thrash and Jack met at her sisters wedding and hit it off with Thrash.....what will they do now? Will Jack go back to England? Will Thrash go with her? And what about the Nightmare Dead....will they keep quiet?
Thrash doesn't strike me as an MC man in the way he talks....but he is a lawyer so guess he can't be all gruff and sweary like!
This story is told in dual pov (UK and US!!) It was a good story but some places felt like a set of instructions so maybe could do with an edit?
What I liked about this story was it was different to MC I have read before...and sometimes, different is good.
I fell into this book from the first page to the last. The characters are strong, smart women and men who will lay their lives on the line for the ones they love. Jack is a book hidden under the cover. She is bas A^^and not afraid to show it. She comes to America for her sisters and ended up falling for Trash, a member of her sisters new Husbands MC. Trash, is a rich boy, who left it to live life on his terms. He is the Clubs Lawyer, and he keeps them out of trouble as much as possible. When he sees Jack, he is instantly attracted to her. They go to London to patch over other MotorCycle Clubs, and while there Jack decides to move to America to be with Trash, her sister Kat, and the Club, who she is liking . The club takes out threats to Kat and then finds out that an old enemy is back trying to corrupt them. They form plans and execute them and do. Jack and Trash form a firm togetherness and their love knows no bounds.
What The Devil Wants is Book 2 of the Cycle Devil series and is Trash and Jack's story. Jack is in Florida for her sister, Kat and Backfire's wedding. Trash is Jack’s club brother and see’s Trash and likes what he sees. Jack and Trash hit it off so we’ll. Jack and Trash are picked to go to England to patch over another club. This is where our wild ride starts for them. This story grabs you from the first sentence and never lets you go. It does have dual point of view but it is still a great read
What The Devil Wants is Book 2 of the Cycle Devil series and is Trash and Jack's story. As with book 1 there's no shortage of chaos, action, excitement, twists, turns and danger. Jack is in Florida for her sister, Kat and Backfire's wedding. Her and Trash hit it off so it's no surprise they accept when the guys are told they're going to England to patch over another club. This is where our wild ride starts. This story snags you from the start and keeps ahold of you until the end.
I didn't read the first book, however, I did get into the storyline for book two to figure out where they were. She (Jack) is in Florida for her sister's wedding. Trash wants her. Will she give him a chance?
There are problems, enemies, and plenty of action.
This is a first-person told by each character rather than a conversation. It is not my favorite writing form but many will enjoy it and the series.
Jack and trash are so cute! Jack(Jacqueline) is in Florida for her sisters wedding and hits it off with Trash right away. They just click! Trouble ensues and a trip to Jack and her sisters home country of England just solidifies Jack and Trash's budding romance. Once back home, everything happens so fast. Love, trouble, romance, and fun all in one!
I’m going to dive right in here and say that to me a couple of chapters I felt were a little wooden but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the story, I didn’t realise this was book two in the series but not to worry I’ve just grabbed the first one.
Jack is in America for her sisters wedding and sparks fly with Trash . I liked these two together. There’s lots of action and threats from old enemies. All in all it is a good book and I recommend reading this book.
