Trust Matters is an essential guide for all health care professionals--managers, executives, board members, and health plan leaders--that offers the much-needed information and tools to help them regain the confidence of the patients they serve and people they work with. In a clear and persuasive manner, the authors explain how to develop health care organizations in which people trust each other and enjoy working together. Includes useful assessment tools and activities.
A good book regarding an essential element in all organizations: trust. This short book speaks of trust and how it is vital in healthcare leadership among all constituents. Relavent examples, although a bit outdated (written in the late 90s). I give it 4 stars. What could have made it better was using examples from various cultural and gender backgrounds. I didn't see an example from a woman in the text.
