Suggests ways that can help minimize bullying in schools by identifying characteristics of the bully and the victim, providing topics for communication among children of various ages, and encouraging schools to curb the problem.
This is the first book I've come across that covers both sides of bullying. Not only does he cover tactics for victims, but also spends an equal amount of time covering solutions for bullies and their families. I am thankful for this, because over time, we've been on both sides of this coin. It's not a easy situation, no matter what your "side" is. I like his positive, non-blaming approach. Instead, he focuses on making positive changes. We have to realize that bullies need support and guidance, too; maybe even more so. Highly recommend this book!!
