After losing his wife and position, Jack is left to wonder what is next for him. When he meets a man dying in a nursing home, they both find hope for what God has beyond the next bend on His Redeeming River .
It made me cry, tears of fond remembrance. That does not happen often. There are moments of sadness - the death of Jack’s wife. Not a spoiler. It brought to mind many events while I was on the field in Turkey as a missionary. It reads quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend it.
