This book is about a young boy who gets a brand new baby brother! He sings him, and plays with him but then his mom tells him that his baby brother is deaf. The boy decides that he is going to see what being deaf is like so he stuffs his ears with cotton balls and wears headphones to drown out any noise for one whole day. He tells his mom all about his day, and all that he did and has so much appreciation for his baby brother and thinks one day he will be a football star. It's a great book dealing with new siblings, and being deaf. Elementary children would like this because some may not even know what being deaf is and the book explains it in a positive light. I really liked this book and the pictures were terrific!
