Lacey Roberts decides to visit her Godmother for her birthday, knowing that she has to hide out since helping a mother and child get away from an abusive husband. What Lacey does not expect is to find out the tales that her godmother told her about werewolves hold some truth and her grandsons Lars, Damien, Wes, and Seth are the myth come into reality.

Lars, Damien, Wes and Seth are stepbrothers but do not have a close relationship with one another, they are willing to put all their issues aside in order to be with their mate Lacey. Their only snafu in their path is convincing Lacey that she is theirs and her place is beside them.

I just love Leah Brooke's books, they always turn into a page turner for me. This one had it all a spirited tempered Lacey who wont back down from the men who are convinced they know best when it comes to her along with several laugh out loud moments. Highly recommend.

**Reread a 4.5 this time. The one thing I would revise is you don't really get to know Wes much and I would have liked to have seen him develop. Has a side story that I think could have developed into a book, hope it oes.

Over all the author is not a bad writer, she is clear and tidy in her work. The plot is also interesting and well planned out. However her sex scenes drag on, I know this is an erotic book but 10 pages for a single scene is too long. In fact the book would no doubt only be half the page count if she just took out half the sex.

My main problem is with the characters. The men in this book are over baring and demanding. They come across as little more than bullies who use the fact that there are four of them against the single woman. They also use the fact that there is a sexual connection between them so that even when she wants to say no she cannot. The whole thing leaves a nasty taste in my mouth and reminds me of little more than spousal abuse and treating someone as a sex slave.

As for the woman she is constantly saying no then giving in, eventually she stands up for herself but it is far too late into the book.

This book would have done much better if it had been shortened in length

Ashira Datya’s Review

When I began reading Alphas' Mate, I was eager and excited to see what wonderful journey had been created for mine and for all of your reading pleasure. I was expecting the standard Alpha of the pack finds his mate and has to pull colored scarves out of his ass to convince his newly found mate that she is his, and not to run away from him, not that her running would matter. I was very surprised and relieved to find that my expectations were blown so far out of the water that they reached the stratosphere.

One thing that surprised me the most was the fact that instead of one male main character, there were four; half brothers that lived their lives separately; products of a very promiscuous father. As luck would have it, all four were Alphas and they all went their separate ways. The four brothers only see each other when requested to visit their grandmother and though they try to keep their dislike of each other from being known, they are not very successful.

The four brothers decide to throw their grandmother a birthday party, and while they are at her estate to finalize the plans and listen to their grandmother talk about what most young people would classify the "Good ole' days", they receive the shock of their lives in the form of a beautiful young woman named Lacey; this shock requires them to set aside their differences and work together or face a life of unhappiness. The four brothers and Lacey set off on a turbulent ride in search of passion, love and happiness.

The book was very well written and I actually felt like I was sitting in the room, watching everything as it unfolded. The scenes were brilliantly described with vivid detail, making me wish that I was the Alphas' mate. The first scene was intense, more intense than anything I have ever read before and they just kept getting better and better. If you are into vividly intense and arousing love scenes or into being dominated, then this story is definitely, one hundred percent without a doubt for you. You will not have any regrets reading this tantalizing story and I plan on reading it again and again and again. Happy reading one and all!

Once in a while I get surprised by a book that really gets to me. And especially since I wasn't expecting at all. From the begging I didn't a big connection with Lacey, and she is the principal character, so I though great another book with a running girl. But damn I was wrong. Lacey is one of the most brave girls that I’ve read so far, she started the book running but with a pretty good reason and everything is explained on the next chapters.

This book is about mating with werewolves’, yes plural, Lacey discover that’s all the stories were true and 4, oh boy, 4 half brothers werewolves’ are meant to be together, isn’t it super sweet. They are bossy and very sexy, every girl dreams is a man who loves her and protect, imagine having that in not one but four times.

So Lacey has some issues about freedom and liberty, plus she discovers that some slapping is good in sex as anything else.

Lars, Damien, Wes and Seth are half brothers and each is the alpha of their own pack, but when they realize that Lacey is their mate, they decide to join the pacts and try to live on the same house. Problem is Lacey has some issues to resolve from her past and the others pacts don’t want all this werewolves’ together, is dangerous in times of war.

Lars is the leader; he was born a couple of months ahead of the others and usually is the one trying to separate the battles. Damien is sex as hell, he’s like a Dom, prefer things on his way being sex or life as general. Wes is more relaxed, and a sculptor very famous, he’s more about feelings than the others. Seth, I really didn’t like him, he started the book acting like a boy, but he’s about the same age as the others, feels like he has a peter pan problem, and took him a little more time to really treat Lacey like she deserved.

Four estranged and single stepbrothers (wouldn't they be half brothers really?) visit their grandmother on the weekend of her birthday party. Not only are they all single and looking for that special someone - they're all werewolves. When a surprise visitor shows up, all four men instantly know she's the one for him - but not just him, them. They work together to comes to terms with sharing their mate with each other while outside forces try to harm her when she reunites the family pack. She's been run out of her hometown for helping and hiding an abused mother and child. She's lost; feeling confused and scared about the four - count that 4 - men that say that can't live without her.

Good story - although I think 4 men is just too much, 3 is more doable. The Sarah/Ted issue could have been more exciting or unfolded. The chemistry between Lacey, Lars, Seth, Damien and Wes was hawt. I was happy Lacey didn't budge too much on the independence issues she had with the men. I liked how she clicked with Steven and Nana was cool as heck.

Although I tend to find Ms Brooke's heroines are way nicer than I could ever picture myself being, I do love the idea of four leading men. The logistics are interesting to say the least, and in this particular case it was lovely to read how the relationships between the heroine and each of her men develop. Too bad this doesn't seem to be part of a series...

I ENJOYED THE ALPHA WOLVES STORY, WISHED AUTHOR WOULD DO A FOLLOW UP, TO SEE HOW CHARACTERS ARE DOING NOW.
May 17, 2017
Well, well, well.
Dunno about this one. Mènage a .. *insert number five in french*?
Yikes. It's.. weird.
They are werewolves, but not even a pack.
ALPHAS. All of them. It should be interesting. And.. weird.
Gonna sneak a peek, pray for me?

~•~•~•~•~•~•~
3.5 it's new for me I had to get used to it stars.

Aaaaalright I'm going to be straight:
It impressed me. Actually the writer was able to be very fluent and the read was easy. I liked the fact that it was something different from the genre I usually read but found it interesting nonetheless. I was intrigued by HOW would Miss Brooke manage to get 4 Alphas to share one and only one mate.
Yes.
The girl, Lacey, is visiting her godmother for her birthday while carring some troubles with her. Said godmother has 4 stunning, hot, and sexy grandsons: Lars, Damien, Wes, and Seth, who all happen to have some kind of imprinting at the exact moment when they meet her.
Et voilá, they all smell her sent and are immediatly captivated by this pretty redhead and will stop at nothing to have her.

This story is essentially erotica.
Sex scenes take up almost half of the book and they were tricky at first, you know.. 4 men and 1 woman.
Maths have never been my forte but damn it. You just get used to it and all the situation because it's not like they have an option. Once a werewolf finds his mate, it's a forever bond, unbreakeble and eternal. So the "orgy" wasn't exactly that bad. Weird? yeah. Sometimes some of them just stood looking, like in a fine concert, and commenting nd what they saw. Sometimes it got me giggling because it was ridicolous-ish and all the sex talk OF 4 MEN just was delirious, but nature, according to werewolves, has her strange ways and this sort of thing happens.
There is insta everything. Insta love, insta drama, insta fight, insta lust, insta angry alphas (sometimes they were ridiculously exaggerated), instawhatever.

It surely entertained me and the plot per se was interesting. As I said before the heroine comes with some troubles and mixed with troubles between packs the story follows a lead but being mostly erotica it's almost rushed. We could use a word.. insta development ? Yep.

Anyhow, I didn't looooved it, but it opened some doors and lead me to a new genre.
Something I really liked is how the writer was able to give each of the four man different personalities, behaviours and actitudes. While all of them were bossy (alphas, duh) they all tended to be different somehow, even though they looked all the same in appearance.

Lacey, the h, wasn't annoying, strangely. I liked her attitude when it came to be bossed around. I mean, it would drive everyone crazy to be told what to do and don't by FOUR DAMN BOSSY MEN. She handled it pretty well even though I didn't have the time to bond with her character given the insta development. She wasn't whiny, stupid or a bum, so that's a huge plus.

I don't know what else to say, the end left me a bit disappointed because everything ended so fast I felt empty-ish.

Dunno, try it out and see for yourselves, it probably was just me.

There are really no words to describe this one. Actually there are, but I will attempt to hold my tongue.

This book is the worst book I've read this year. One woman is the mate to not one but four half brothers. Who are all Alphas. I found myself wondering if this author could make this work. No she couldn't. For one thing all of the characters in this have no depth to them. There is nothing that resonates with you. While all brothers who have different names of course, appear to be different, they aren't. From how closely they resemble one another in human form, to their wolf forms. You get no interesting or heartfelt plot here at all. The dialogue as well as the execution of this one is simple at best. The "Drama" or "Suspense" was lacking in all areas of this one. All the major issues that were suppose to serve as the foundation for this story in the first place, were resolved with little to no effort or hardships, that would be required to make this story believable. The only true reaction that I found myself having was the constant need to roll my eyes until my head hurt.

The sex: completely unsexy (is this even a word?) well it will have to do. No feelings behind the act, just mechanics. This one was trying to come off as erotic, but missed it's mark completely. Honestly, I've read smut with more imagination & depth to it.

I would not recommend this read. I read alot of reviews saying it was great and awesome. But I have to ask myself "Did we read the same book?"
But to each his own. If you really must read this one I would recommend you borrow it. Not buy it.

This was a really good book though Lacey kind of annoyed the hell out of me when she wouldn't accept the whole mating aspect. So Lacey comes into town for her godmother's birthday. Her godmother is like her only family. Anyways Lacey runs into her godmother's grandsons and instantly the men know she is their mate. Yep 4 guys are her mate, the problem is they are all Alphas and they don't really get along even though they are all half brothers. So part of the book is spent with Lacey bitching and moaning about leaving and not being their mate, we find out the reasons for this later but during those events before explanations she is annoying as hell. So then a murder happens and it was to a woman with red hair, the men think the attack was actually directed at her or to be for her. It takes a while to figure out who the attacker and murderer is, but the whole scene that entails that thing, basically the climax of the story I felt was resolved wayyyy too quickly and totally out of character for the antagonist. It didn't seem logical based on that persons history in the story for that person to react that way. So it didn't feel authentic. But aside from that the story as a whole was really good and very steamy.

It was really an enjoying read. The characters are all funny and at the same time, their attitudes are also the same. The big fight was awesome, the one because of the spanking I mean. There are just some issues that I have. First Aaron's change was so big and momental that I have a hard time believing it. It's unrealistic. Next, the ending was stretching too far and far too cocky. The one with Ted. I'd appreciate it more if they have ended it with the you're expecting scene. Then Steven and Sarah, they can't just go they're already together and happy. It would have been enjoyable if there is another story. It should have been. Then that's when Ted will be over. Ted isn't Lacey's problem he's Sarah's so he should have been dealt to her story and not just for entertainment in Lacey's. Anyway, also with Sarah and Steven, there should have been a trauma for her and the little girl and it would have been an awesome chase and persuading but they just jump off the bat. I did expect that Sarah is going to be together with Steven. It's quite obvious.

I love a good shifter story and this one had every element I enjoy. Dominant, possessive, hot alphas with a female who won't take any crap from anybody. These four men fall in love with her in their own time which I appreciated. Some books have them all fall in love instantly or at the same time. This was more realistic. Yes, they know they're mates, but they still needed time to fall in love. The sex was beyond hot, these guys are seriously yummy. The plot kept moving and kept me interested. The enemies were believable, though sometimes it seemed the peace making came a little too easily.
Overall, a fun, sexy read that I know I'll enjoy again. I look forward to reading more from Leah Brooke.

This was a fairly decent werewolf menage book. And that totally cracks me up. What a sub genre: werewolf menage. Anyhoo. There was a decent explanation of why she isn't totally freaked out when she finds that werewolves are real. I thought that 4 men in the menage were too many. It is hard to really differentiate so many personalities. Story was okay and the sex okay. I didn't really feel the romantic love though.

I have to say that I love their grandmother/godmother and Victor. I was kind of hoping they would have more comments back n' forth. But I'll take what I can get. I really this this book. This book was a first for me by this author.

I would like to see if the author would deem worthy of making another addition to this book. A squel maybe?

What I wouldn't give to have 4 alpha's fawning over me all the time! I could only wish my sex scenes would cover 10 pages in a novel. HOT! This is actually my fourth time reading it, and all the sex scenes are bookmarked. Better than video porn for me! As I'm a submissive (well, actually a switch), I definitely appreciate that Lacey can give as good as she gets.

What happens when you have one home and four different Alpha's? Well you hope one of them finally settles down. When each of them finds their mate it becomes interesting. To say the least they all will learn the art of working together. Good read, really enjoyed the story and made me laugh at how men in general react.

The author definitely knows to write, the story itself has many potentials but it looks like for the sake of erotica all potential thrown from the window. Four mate idea was creazy, that's why i read it but I didn't satisfied in the end. I don't know how those four satisfied with only one.

This was an interesting werewolf shifter erotic romance, with a good story around the romance.

Lars, Damien, Weston, and Seth Tougarret are half brothers they share the same father Roland who was killed by a rival pack alpha Aaron Galbraith. Their father was impatient and didn’t wait to meet his mate and ended up impregnating several female pack members which caused trouble making them vy for title alpha female which is why the brothers aren’t close they were kept apart, and the pack was separated into four with each son alpha of their part. They are desperate to meet their mate they won’t be with anyone but their mate. They meet up at their grandmothers Eleanor house and their lives change forever when they meet their mate problem is she’s all four of their mates.

Lacey is on the run from some trouble, she’s lost her job and is tying to help a friend and her child stay safe her life is a bit complicated at the moment the last thing she expected while visiting her beloved godmother was her godmothers four very attractive grandsons who cause reactions in her body that unsettle her, their intense staring, weird growling and sniffing oh and their werewolves who claim she’s their mate. Yeah no pressure she can only offer sex, she can’t make promises but all four brothers have come together to share her no matter what, so she’s got four male alpha werewolves to juggle in her already complicated life. Things get crazy at Eleanor’s birthday party when a red head woman is killed. A bitter werewolf obsessed cop Agent O’Reilly. But Ted Johnson is determined to get them back, Steven helps get divorce, restraining order and Sarah access to joint account. After a misunderstanding causes trouble between Lacey and her mates them using sex against her and hurting her for not listening about Steven. The brothers discover the truth that Steven is their brother and the reason why Stevens father Aaron killed their father was because he slept with Dolores Aaron’s wife and stevens mother but she was Roland’s mate. Soon it’s discovered Dolores was the wolf that killed the woman thinking it was Lacey to win Aaron’s love which shocks and horrified him, causing him realise the hurt he’s caused her and Steven and is remorseful. They make a truce and the packs combine into one big one. Trouble is still around when Sarah frantically calls Lacey that men with guns that Ted has hired found them at the hotel. Lacey and her mates plus Steven to the rescue stop the men and Steven and Sarah are mates. Finally for months there is peace, Lacey chose to stay with them and is pregnant one night while the men are hunting she’s on the patio watching the night sky only to see Ted and his goons threatening her, soon the yard is full of wolves that terrifies them, she gets Ted yo promise not to ever bother her, Sarah or Christine and to give up parental rights so Steven can adopt Christine since he’s marrying Sarah. Catching up on reviews.

I started this book last week, but forgot to post my review.

I did like this book, but had some trouble with the constant conflicts. I understood the reason behind the conflicts, but just kept waiting for it to get over with. I am talking about the relationship conflicts. yes, I understand that it would be very hard for four alpha males to come to some kind of agreement and I understand that the lady would have a hard time coming to terms with overbearing mates, but there was little compromise and I kept thinking that if they wouldn't just react to a situation and talk it over a lot of it might have been avoided.

Now, that being said, I enjoyed the interaction between the brothers, especially the two older, Lars and Damien. They actually seemed like alphas and were level headed. Seth and Wes just seemed young and immature. Yes, they grow up in the end, but it was starting to get tedious by the end.

Then there is Lacey. She is the center of the alpha males. I can understand her resentment at the males, but still think she should have told of her troubles. I think things would have gone much smoother. However, she maintained a level head throughout.

The sex scenes were great and again I loved the interaction with the Lacey and her mates on a one-on-one basis and I love how she was able to manipulate the men when she needed to.

Again, I liked the story, but it may not be one I reread much.

When I read the synopsis I accidentally read the comment about how dimwit the heroine. And...its make me a little lazy to read the story.
At first I think its actually the alphas fault! Well, if anyone I just meet say to me to just trust them without telling me anything I think I wouldn't trust them too.
But then yeah, I think rather than dimwit, the heroine is really really stubborn and only trust her own instinct...she should investigate everything about new things! How can she just let everything trough?
And I think the ending is a little too rushing. I kinda feel 'so, that's it? It's end?'. Its worst than a cliche end actually.
Oh btw, when I read Steven want to come when they going to rescue Sarah, I know Sarah must be Steven mate...the plot is too legible.
However I success to finish this and kinda enjoy this story

This book is well written, the plot is interesting and the actions are described clearly. But I really feel like the author is always justifying herself about writing on the subject of menages. Ok, being in couple with more then one partner is not socialy conventional. But readers must be open to the idea to read this book, and it's very annoying when the autor herself write like she's got to justify her story and her character's acts every chapters... On the other hand the means characters are a touch too stereotypical, between the men who are dominants but not very compromising. And the woman who's a very bad cliché of an independent woman, but come out like a stubborn bitch on her period (and not a very smart one at that...) ... And i'm offended on this subject because too many people confuse independent, with just a plain difficult and stubborn person...

The reason I gave 4 stars: THE CHARACTERS.

OK. The thing I loved the most: HER. She was amazing. She doesn't just conform to them, she fights it every step of the way, and I LOVED it. I get how she falls prey to the attraction, and omg, her character is perfect [so far].

I don't really care much for the sex. Actually, i'd rather it wasn't there in the first place and kinda [did] hate it, but I knew what I was getting into so I can't really complain now can I?

Oh my gosh. She fought back. I love her. She's my hero. The best goddamn mc that ever existed. Hallelujah.
I HATE it when the girls just take it, and I hated the whole male dominance thing. I hate it more than murder mysteries tbh. And gods she... wow. I'm so thrilled.

Overall this story was good. There were spots where I just wanted to scream where it focused too long on certain details. I also got tired of Lacey's attitude at the beginning.

Another thing was that there was not enough time spent on parts like where Steven's mom takes Lacey and when the wolves catch up with them. How can Aaron go from pure hatred for the people and pack and suddenly change his attitude in a few seconds? To me it was a big part in the book and it was written in like a page. It just could have been a lot better.

I did like how Lacey started getting clever in how she got even with her mates. It made me laugh sometimes :)

I don't read books with women in very often anymore, they're usually whiney wimpy b*tches. I liked that Lacey was all alpha female and stood up for herself without the hissy fits. I liked that they all didn't fall in love instantly and the men had very different personalities.
What I didn't like is the fact I picked this book because it was listed on lots of the "pregnancy" lists, and she doesn't even get pregnant till the last 4% of the story and I don't even get to meet the baby!

my first paranormal werewolf erotic and it was as bad as i had thought it will be
i saw the book as very easy to read for a first timer, add a lesson in basic werewolf stuff
i however found myself hoping over the looong sex scenes, the use of my mate my mate became infuriating over time. Lacey was one annoying lady to ass to the mix.
all in all 3 stars , not bad for a firsttimer.

I really, really love this book and reading it twice just goes to show how hard I've fallen for it.

I don't know what, but I love the chemistry Lacey has with all four of her mates. And the sex is insanely hot, too. The plot was good and I loved the plot twists and mystery that it had because I did not see that coming.
