The Rule of Lorques: Lorque Exposure

Rate this book
Jonas is lost, dazed and confused. His family are gone; his friends are gone and an army of invaders swarm across his planet. He watches in horror as vicious creatures fall from the skies, taking people in single leaps, and battalions of monsters ravage the cities of the place he used to call home. But then hope appears in the form of a wild man on the run. He doesn’t know if he can trust him, doesn’t know if he’ll protect him, but what choice does he have? Where else will he go?They run and as they escape together, Jonas learns of a weapon that fills him with fear... …not because it can stop the invasion...…not because it can bring home his family...…but because the weapon......is Jonas. In a thrilling race against time, Jonas must overcome his own doubts, develop the confidence to become the hero of his own story, and find the courage to stand on his own, if he is to ever get back his family and home.A note from the author : This book is a Space Opera. While the setting is obviously different from my other books, it follows the same theme...someone finds themselves in an impossible situation and we follow the personal journey they undertake in order to overcome the odds. I hope you enjoy the story. Feedback and let me know what you thoughts. Thanks! Benjamin

Excellent story, which I hope will be continued. So far I haven't seen a sequel... in fact looks like the author dropped off Amazon. I picked four stars because there were a lot of spelling/grammar errors. The book could've used another round of editing. Cheers!
