Brightly illustrated book about the many beasts found in mythology. Each beast gets two or three pages of explanation, broken down into partial page snippets. An easy and fun read. Helpful resource to me as I read Circe.

This book has a very interesting compilation of information; however, the book’s layout and format, and some poor attempts at making things humorous detracted from the engaging information presented.

3.75/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ This was so nostalgic for me - I read the other two mythlopedia books in middle school & managed to find this one at a goodwill. Definitely a great read for any kid wanting to get started in the world of mythology!

I really like this Mythlopedia series. Each book focuses on a particular set of characters from the Greek myths, and the layout of the books are really cute.

This book was all about the monsters, such as the Cyclopes, Gigantes, and the Sphinx. I learned some new things, although I do wish the book had been longer. It just seemed like some of the information was so condensed, it was barely worth mentioning.
