Even in the apocalypse, it's hard to keep a secret...

Mollie and Jake Caldwell have spent years preparing for the unknown. But was it enough? Or will this crisis they’re living in destroy everything they’ve worked so hard for?

In this chaotic new world—where nothing is normal, easy, or safe—the people of Bakerville are doing their best to survive. Coming together as a community seems the only way to succeed. But not everyone has the community’s best interest at heart.

And secrets, both long-buried and current, threaten to dissolve relationships and cost lives.

Things may not be as they seem, and it's hard to know who to trust.

Fowler’s Snare is the fifth book in the Havoc in Wyoming Christian Post-Apocalyptic series. If you like fast-paced adventure, edge-of-your-seat mysteries, and intense family drama set in an apocalyptic world, then you’ll love this latest installment of the Havoc in Wyoming page-turning series.

Buy Fowler’s Snare today and discover the newest challenges the people of Bakerville face.

The Havoc in Wyoming series has been described as “Cozy Apocalypse” and contains no profanity; gratuitous sex scenes; or gruesome, overly detailed death scenes. While set in an imagined future, the people of Bakerville face real-life obstacles, created by this new world and brought with them from their old world. In this latest installment of the series, the action and danger intensify and their world is considerably less cozy.

Millie Copper, writer of Cozy Apocalyptic Fiction and preparedness mentor, was born in Nebraska but never lived there. Her parents fully embraced wanderlust and moved regularly, giving her an advantage of being from nowhere and everywhere.

Millie Copper lives in the wilds of Wyoming with her husband and young son, tending chickens and attempting a food forest on their small homestead. After living off the grid for several years, they've recently gone back on the grid. Four adult daughters, three sons-in-law, and five grandchildren round out the family.

Since 2009, Millie has authored articles on traditional foods, alternative health, homesteading, and preparedness-many times all within the same piece. Millie has penned seven nonfiction, traditional food focused books, sharing how, with a little creativity, anyone can transition to a real foods diet without overwhelming their food budget.

The twelve-installment Havoc in Wyoming and six-installment Montana Mayhem Christian Post-Apocalyptic fiction series use her homesteading, off-the-grid, and preparedness lifestyle as a guide. The adventures continue with the upcoming Dakota Destruction series.

This book is just like the others in the series - engrossing. It had been a while since I read the previous book and I had read a lot of other books, so it took a chapter or two to remember who was who, etc. However, after that I was hooked and didn't want to stop reading until I had finished it.

The story is realistic and/or plausible, and the characters are easy to feel a connection, like, dislike, etc. As with some of Millie Copper's other books, she is also realistic with presenting the characters in a way that the average person would probably be in such a situation - with flaws, including mental problems - depression, alcoholism, abuse, etc. No "super hero trained survivalists" here, just a variety of fairly average people dealing with everything the best they can.

I have really enjoyed reading this series and was anxiously waiting for book #5. It was really good. Lots of characters with different personalities. Some you like, some you do not. ;)
I feel like there will be a book 6, at least I am really hoping there will be!
Can you imagine being in the situation that they are in? The collapse of America and all that comes along with it. It's hard to imagine, but it really does make you stop and think, "What if? What would I do if this were to happen? How would I handle this?"
I recommend this book, as well as the whole series....they are all enjoyable reads that are hard to put down.

The story continues

At a triple wedding celebration, June is slipped some spiked punch, which leads her to a downward spiral. Making matters w9rse the family making the moonshine is a family she treating every day and she continues to drink. After leaving them one morning she gets a call out for the militia to rally and miss diagnosed a patient. Her husband goes off on her and she is stripped of all duties. At the same time the community is splitting up into factions. Keep your note cards handy.

Love thy Neighbor

OMG, I’ve read each sequences and couldn’t put the books down. The stories and characters are great. Each family has a story to tell. Fascinating, scary. Love the way you’ve included the Bible verses. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son for all our sins that so whoever believe in him will have eternal life.

Another great, suspenseful read

The 5th book in the Havoc in Wyoming series was very good. The characters are facing more problems as they struggle to live in their new “normal”. This book focuses on Jake and Molly as well as Doctor Sam and his wife June and a new character named Sweetie.

Great

Good series, little long winded at times, but still really enjoyed it so far. Like the use of scripture, and how some realize their flaws, and then to God for help. Really good series.

Ignore the graphics in this series.

Some repeat. Not sure where to find the 0.5 parts of the series. Wyoming isn’t as safe as you would think at the end of the world.
