This is it! Go time. No longer can I stick my head in the sand or pretend that my kraken honey hasn’t knocked me up.

"What do you mean, Lila?" I hear you ask. Well, it means I’m screwed. And not in the good way.

After the lightning attack on Iceen triggered my latent Skarrian abilities, they’ve kicked into gear big time. Not only am I a lightning cat whisperer, but I’m also a mimic.

I just became the perfect compatible option for any species in the galaxy. Which is not exactly an appealing thought. If I don’t get control of my abilities, it could be dangerous not only for me but for my little ones too.

So we're headed home to Skarr where I can give birth and get a handle on my mimic abilities before I splice myself into a dozen different species and get stuck that way.

Never a dull moment in the Galaxy Circus that’s for sure.

I’m pretty conflicted. When I started this series I really enjoyed it, much to my dismay. I didn’t realize until after reading the first two books that it was written by an author I swore never to support in any way…but it was too late and I want to finish reading this series…Sigh…

I’m really enjoying these books. The storyline is fun, the characters are unique and interesting. The world is different from anything I’ve read before and it’s exciting. The world building was done really well and I’m thrilled to read about all the future planets they will be visiting.

I’m really enjoying the diverse and highly unusual characters. So far our FMC is mated (or almost mated) to a Kraken shifter, a cyborg, a vampire, and a warlock. We have a set of tiger shifters, a dragon, and an unusual spiky alien as potential future mates. I have a feeling this harem is going to be large.

The main plotline is extremely slow moving though. I think the reason for this is the shorter length of half these books. As soon as the plot looks to be moving forward the book ends, this stalls the plot movement until more than halfway through the next book. At this rate the series is going to need at least 10 books to finish the main storyline.

Every book in the Galaxy Circus series gets me more and more invested. Lila may be one of my favourite characters ever. She comes across as real and complex. Her interactions and reactions are are well written. I read this book in one sitting. I was so engaged I was surprised that it was finished.

Ok, this was more a novella than an actual addition to the series. It ends at 85% and then is preceded by a glossary.
This was another fun and enjoyable addition to the series. I have NO Idea what is happening with the water dragon though... should be interesting. We also don't really see any of the other possible suitors in this book. Just the main 4 + the two lightning cats.

wow

I just love how the characters have grown and how everywhere in the story leaves openings for more stories and worlds to be created. I can’t wait to hear more about Lila, the men and babies!!!!

Other than the babies, nothing really progressed here. Length was nice and short but don't think I like the arrival of the babies, kinda killing the vibe for me. Glad the tigers are finally in picture!

Sweet

Okay so I don't often enjoy pregnancy talk and pregnancy in general. But it was fairly easy to gloss over the few bits and keep track of the story line. Also soooo many questions about their water visitor. I have a suspicion but I just have to wait to see.

Nothing happened in this book, this entire book could have been four or five chapters and it would have had the same effect. I won’t be continuing the series

Great book

I anticipated and dreaded reading this book. I’m not a fan of books all circulating around pregnancy of the fmc. I love books that move the series along with the main plot with that as part of the moving story. The summary made me feel like it was only going to focus on the soon to be mother. It wasn’t at all like that. Sure, it was always being reminded in the background but there was so much more to the story.
I felt immersed in the book, until she had a freak out over the “can of tuna” and his actions. Even I could tell she didn’t really have a choice and she lashed out at him. Even when it was explained to her that neither of them had a choice, she still didn’t make an attempt to reach out and apologize. That didn’t seem like her type of personality. This was pretty much the only spot I didn’t like. As it just didn’t flow with the nature of her character.
I loved the multiple povs. It really opens up each of the main characters. I suspect the water dragon is the Tirrien? His dragon is smitten, and Tirrien is in denial. Lila is calm with him even when he’s a jerk to her, her inner kraken purring with delight being near him, forcing naughty thoughts on the fmc. Her inner beast is pretty funny, and I thoroughly enjoy how she gets the fmc into so much trouble. Sends pheromones out in the air around her mates and attracting others by the waves.
I hope she makes up with Nikos. I can’t wait to read more about her babies. I think they are all gonna have the guys wrapped around their tiny tenticles/fingers.
Great book!

We're barely two chapters in and Lila has already approved of punishing someone by forcing them into sex work, and deliberately driven a shuttle badly to make the dragon sick... never mind the twenty other people also in the shuttle. Gosh, I don't know how she hasn't collected a million friends throughout her life.

She gets bitchy at Cas because she's embarrassed she doesn't know anything. Of course, she doesn't know anything because she never bothers to study or even ask questions... no, she needs far too many naps to actually, eww, work. She treats Nikos like shit because she abandoned her own kids. I'm guessing it's supposed to be funny how cruel she is to Nikos. He's the Jerry of the show.

She thinks it's hilarious to force Maksim to masturbate. I mean, being so obviously vile and rapey is beyond the pale for even Xavier so you know it's bad. We can do that little play pretend of what everyone would think if it was a random male bully forcing a female victim into unconsensual acts in public, but gosh Lila is just SO specially evil we don't really have to, do we? I mean, he was grumpy to her once, he obviously deserved it!

I think the most frustrating thing is how often the characters around her crow about how generous and kind and empathetic she is... she isn't. She's awful. She's a sociopath having a fever dream about a bunch of slaves who adore her for no reason.

I Can’t Get Enough of this Series!!!
I freaking loved that Ms Winston dedicated an entire novella to the birth of Lila and Caspian’s babies. Confession time, I have never been a fan of long series, in book or film. I’m the one that stops after a 3rd or 4th book or season. Or I’ll skip some of the middle to get to the end. I hope that this series goes on forever and I will consume every word!! The world that this author is creating has fully captured me and I never want to leave. Not to mention the mystery of what’s going on! Who wants the orb and why? Who is the sea dragon?? Why has no one ever seen one before??? Will Nikos redeem himself???? I really wish someone would have the balls to make these books into a TV series. It would be epic. Anyway, loved Mama and can’t wait to read more about the Galaxy Circus!! As always, all the stars ⭐️

4.5 Stars!
I absolutely FLOVED this series - it has so many of my favourite tropes/micro tropes; paranormal/sci-fi, RH, fantastic world building, various aliens/creatures, loads of 'different' spice and the humour!! This is very fast paced, action packed and an absolute page turner. I had trouble putting down these books, I was addicted within a couple of chapters and could not stop reading. I burned through the five books currently available in a matter of days and I am eagerly awaiting book 6. This series is so different to anything else I've read with a circus (in space!), aliens some of which have some very paranormal characteristics, various MCs covering different races, personalities and peens! Then the storyline is completely original and totally captures your imagination. LOVED it.

Baby love

Another instalment from the “Galaxy Circus’ where we continue with Lila’s pregnancy and birth. We’re mainly concerned with Caspian her Kraken mate here, their mating ritual is described in weird and wonderful detail here, love the world that Lexie has created here. Lila discovers on Fluxx that prejudicial people are everywhere!
The Lightning cats are one of my favourite aliens here, glad Maxsim is finally finding his place after being dealt a rough deal by his mother, some of these aliens customs are shocking. We catch up briefly with Lila’s other mates, so glad her harem is gelling nicely.
I can see trouble ahead for Lila but this book was a celebration of love and life, a great read.

Mama is the 4th book in the Galaxy Circus series and it is everything!!!!

While it does mostly focus on Lila and the impending birth of the babies, there is still quite a bit of progression in the main story, so you do not want to skip over this book!!! It had me stitches, my heart squeezing in joy for Lila and Cas with their babies, and then in sadness for Nikos. Curiousity is burning through me about a supposedly 'non existent' addition to the story, I have my theories on that particular thread.

Even though this book is bit shorter than the previous books in the series, the world building is still exceptional, and it was awesome to see a bit more of the galaxy.

I can't wait for the next installment. Lila and her guys are in for a ride, I'm sure of it!!!

good read

This is book 4 of the Galaxy Circus Series. It’s a pretty good one. I’m starting to like Lila a little more. Most of her mates are awesome. Still not to sure on Maxsim, but I think I’ll end up liking him. I do not like Nikos as all. He’s annoying and really immature. Also he could have cause a lot of damage when he showed up after the babies were born!! I can’t wait to see more of the family dynamic. I wonder how many mates she’ll have. She’s collecting so many of them.

I still love the grandpas and really wish they were in more of the books. I know it’s not really a book about them, but I just love how they are written. I can wait for all 3 grandpas to be together again and meet their great grand babies.

Mama

So excited for this amazing book in the series, the anticipated babies that Lila has been carrying.

Although this book is a Novella, it definitely adds depth and dimension to the entire series. We get an up close and personal look into the dynamics of Lila’s life and so many new questions arise from all the Easter egg drops that we get to uncover and ponder over!

If you enjoy a fun, quirky story that has a high heat factor, a couple of mysteries to solve and a lonely water dragon…then this is the perfect book for you.

Run 🏃‍♂️ and download your copy and be prepared to be swept away.

Oh my goodness, I love Caspian’s parents! Mira is my favorite. She just tells it like it is and completely overshares. That’s totally me, so I relate. I did get a little irritated with Cas in this book. I feel like he never tells Lila anything. She’s so clueless and he can’t take a minute to talk to her. It’s infuriating. For example, finding out it was actually a mate challenge Lila competed in! What? Use your words creatures! I’m so invested in this series. I love when an author makes me emotional. I do not want to give anything away. This was a terrific read and I’m ready for more as soon as possible!

It was as great as this whole series so far but man i thought that this is the final part so obviously I was waiting for all the conflict resolution... yeah I didn't get that that's for sure.

This book in particular seemed very short and basically nothing happened. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it but I was also quite irritated about close to none relationship development with the cats :( and I feel like we're still really far from the end and kind of think the author should've had written longer books but fewer of them. It's funny to have one story split into ten books when there's no need for it.

I was so excited to when I found ou Ty about this book, and I was not disappointed. In Mama we finally get to see Lila and her mates become parents! I have to say the world building again in this book was incredible. We get to finally see Fluxx and meet Cas’s family, and we finally get to see Skarr! I loved seeing new relationships build and some of the mystery that this book held. And the babies!!! So stinking cute! I cannot wait to see what happens next, with the babies, the circus, her mates, and more!

Is it hot in here or is it just Echo and Maxsim? *fans self*

This novella was hot with a capital H! And don’t even get me started on how heart melting it was because OMG the I don’t know what melts more, your panties or your heart! The perfect combination of sweet and steamy with a great plot thrown in.

I swear I say this every time but Lexie Winston’s Galaxy Circus series is truly one of a kind and I’m absolutely obsessed. Now I’m going to go insane waiting to get the next book in my hands!

Just perfect! Woke up at the KRACKEN DAWN to read this and now that I’m finished, I’m caught in another reading slump. This was a great addition to the series and more. I couldn’t be more happier and excited to find out about this release a month after that last book ended, and I wasn’t disappointed. I needed to know what happened with Lila and her mates and this picked up right where the last book left off, leaving me completely speechless and emotional. Need I say to you how much I love this series…anxious for more!

I love Lila’s story ❤️. This book had all the feels. Lila heads off to have her babies. It was absolutely heartwarming to have all her mates love, protect her and want to be good fathers to the babies. It was also great to see how Echo and Maxsim relationship with Lila progresses. I think there is going to be some amazing sexy times when they decide to be together🔥❤️. Poor Nikos…..I hope he and Lila work through their challenges.

I love this series! I can’t wait for the next book.

Absolutely amazing! This series has been amazing! I love that this book is a novella that gives us more insight into the characters and into Lila’s pregnancy. This book is short and sweet and leaves you wanting more. Lexie Winston does an amazing job mixing it up giving us full length books as well as these short novellas that fit the world building perfectly! I am excited to find out what is next for Lila and her family. 💜🖤

Great book!

My only complaint is that is wasn’t longer, I could read about Lila all day long. The Galaxy Circus world is addicting, I just want to know everything about each planet and its inhabitants. The world building for these books is simply outstanding. These books are a perfect mix of steamy romance and sci-fi. I can’t wait to see where this story goes and would happily read any and all spin-offs.

wow!

This series surprised me, it's honestly such a good series. The books are getting better and better, sometimes I get bored when I read the same series in a row like this, but I started at one and finished with this one and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

** mild spoilers below**I really hope things smooth out with Nico right away and things start moving forward with Link and Xavier, there is just so much sorry left to tell and I can't wait to read it!!!'

This was another absolute hit by Lexie. This was a fast burn novella that tells us the story of how Lila gives birth to her little kraken babies. I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens next, and poor Niko! Ugh my heart died a little I need them to get closer!! Can't wait for more babies in the next book too!

Omg, there’s something about this series that just sucks you in from page 1! I love this series, and this short is no different. This is a novella for the darling babies to be born, a brief interlude from the main storyline, but don’t think that means it’s action free! There’s still plenty of stuff going on and more clues gained! Highly recommend this book, and the whole series!

This novella was soooo good!!!! Gah I definitely can not wait for the next book! I absolutely love the characters and this world and I can never get enough. The book sucks you in from the very beginning and then leaves you hanging on by a thread at the end. All I am gonna say is poor Nikos...... I highly recommend this book and whole series!
