Sasquatch Canada: Beyond British Columbia

Rate this book
You’re invited on a tour of the Great White North in search of the ever-elusive Sasquatch.

Canada is the second largest country in the world yet only about twenty percent of its landmass is inhabited by humans. Vast swathes of wilderness provide habitat for such large predators as the cougar, bear, and wolf. Witnesses from across Canada agree that there is another, unknown creature stalking the Canadian wilds - the giant, bipedal, ape-like creature known as Sasquatch.
While a great deal of research has been done on Sasquatch sightings in British Columbia, the other provinces of Canada have a rich history of sightings of the Hairy One as well. With encounters ranging from drive-by sightings of Sasquatch along the roadways of Canada to close range encounters between hunters and even law enforcement officers and the Hairy One, this book will open the reader to the wide range of Sasquatch experiences across Canada.

This is a scientific look at Sasquatch in Canada, outside of British Columbia. It includes sightings in various regions: from roadside views, face to face encounters, wood knocks and more. The author mentions the excellent Sasquatch Chronicles podcast, with key episodes set in Canada, as well as other key works. Views of Natives are included as well, since their beliefs tend to differ from many others. While there are encounters, they are shared to fit topics focused on. A more scholarly work. Interesting to cryptid fans looking for more depth.

interesting

These are a lot of interesting stories. Some I have heard before. The author just pulled stories from other locations from books, TV, blogs, etc. He did not do any of his own fieldwork nor interview people on his own.
