She thought he was her enemy. Could he be her salvation?
Belle Silver, pirate captain of The Enchantress, is on the run. In need of a safe haven, she seeks the help of the witch Morwenna who transports her through time to present-day Charleston, South Carolina. Belle is truly a fish-out-of-water as she navigates through the world of electric lights, cars and a modern-day Christmas.
Christopher Plumb is not someone who could be mistaken for a pirate, but Belle Silver believes him to be his many times great-grandfather, a man who stole treasure from Belle and her father John Silver. It takes some convincing on Christopher’s part, but eventually Belle can accept him for who he is, a modern-day treasure hunter and owner of a pirate museum. He offers his assistance in helping Belle find a treasure that has been missing since the eighteenth century. Finding the treasure may be what she wants but finding love could be what she needs.
Silver Belle Green Sky Series Book #3 Jennae Vale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Belle Silver is a pirate captain who has her own ship called The Enchantress. She is on the run and is looking for a save haven, so she seeks the help of a witch called Morweena who transports her through time to present day Chatleston, South Carolina. Belle is truly lost here as she navigates through the world of all of the conveniences of our time.
Christopher Plum is definitely not someone who could be mistaken for a pirate, but when Silver Belle sees him she mistakes him for his Great, great, grandfather, a man who stole treasure from Belle and her father John Silver. It takes a lot of convincing on Christopher’s part, but eventually Belle accepts him for who he is and who he isn't. He's just a modern day treasure hunter and owner of a private museum. He offers Belle his equipment and assistance in helping Belle find the treasure that her father left her a map for. Belle has no problem accepting Christopher for who he is either. Finding the treasure may be what she wants but finding love is the last thing she expected, but may need.
Jennae Vale once again you have litterly blown my socks off. This story was absolutely fantastic. When this author puts her pen to paper you know a good book will come next. I found it great that Belle went to our time instead of Christopher going to hers. I can't say to much without spoiling the story. Except kudos to you Ms. Vale this is one amazing story.
This is a fun time travel read set at Christmas. Belle and Christopher are interesting characters who captured my attention from the start. Their adventure was fun to read and experience along with them. I enjoyed the secondary characters and found that they added to the fabric of the story.
This was the first book in the series that I read and I didn’t feel lost. Both couples from the previous two books are in this story, although the couple from the second book play a much larger role. You can tell from the story that they had their own books, but that doesn’t detract from the enjoyment of this story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I was very pleased with this book. I love a good time travel novel and Jennae Vale is one of the best out there. The heroine takes her trip to the future in good stride and the hero is a clone for his ancester who is her enemy. But she soon realizes that he is nothing like his ancestor. I can't say much more for fear of letting spoilers out. This is a fast paced novel that hooks you right away and doesn't stop until the HEA. Her cache of weapons is impressive when she gets arrested in the beginning of the book. I love a great Lady Pirate. This book did not disappoint.
Belle Silver, a pirate and daughter of John Silver also a pirate, is being hunted by British authorities. She escapes from the Golden Age to modern day Charleston, S.C. Where she meets several times great grandson of Christopher Plumb, pirate. He is collector and owns a museum of pirate artifacts. She mistakes him for the real pirate and takes a dislike to him. He accepts her invitation to help her find her father’s treasure, her inheritance. I enjoyed reading this book as Well as her other books. Jennae is a marvelous writer. I can’t wait for her next book!
I so enjoyed this book. Jennie Vale has a way of weaving excitement, danger, fun and love into her Time Travel books. The characters were well blended. Belle, with all the changes she must adjust to, cannot deal with shoes (a girl after my own heart. I love the feel of no shoes, lol!) Then comes Christopher Plumb (grandson of the Hated Pirate of the same name. Can we say sparks a flying?!?) Minimal violence just saving each other from unsavory riff raff. Never tick off a female Pirate Captain with uh “SKILLS”. Great Read Jennie Vale, thank you!!!
A Christmas story with a time travel twist. The characters were interesting and well presented. The story wasn't what I first expected but it was very good. I recommend it.
Silver Belle is a second generation sea captain much to her father’s displeasure. The book opens with her being hunted and needing to escape her current situation for a while. Belle seeks the assistance of a witch who sends her through time to present day South Carolina.
Her world is upended and nothing is familiar. Luckily she meets up with a fellow pirate that has previously traveled and made a new life for himself and his wife. They openly embrace Belle and assist her in navigating this new reality. Day two of her adventure and she meets Christopher who she believes to be his many times removed great grandfather believing he has stolen family treasures. This sparks her new adventures and a modern day treasure hunt with many twists and turns.
This is a great book in a great series! Highly recommend you pick up a copy for yourself.
