Sarah and Julie, identical twins, were adopted by different families as infants. They didn't know each other existed until a great-grandmother brought them together. Sarah decided to move to the small Oregon town where Julie lived. An unplanned stop at a convenience store forever changed their plans and their lives.
This held my interest throughout the book. Everything came together in an intense-filled ending. It's the second book in a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the series, though it could have been read as a stand-alone anyway. Great characters and a good, long suspenseful mystery that keeps you reading. Love this author!!

Very good suspense story - the author did a great job setting the scene for the mood in rainy Oregon. Would recommend.

As good as the first book! They intertwine characters but you could read each individully. Looking forward to Book #3

Great to come across characters from a previous book. Full of suspense right to the end.

Great mystery! The ending was a surprise; I did not see it coming. Wish there were more details explained at the end but maybe they'll come in the trilogy conclusion.

It was okay. Far too much action took place in too short a time period to be believable. It was a bit preachy too. And I just didn’t find the perp to feel right. Like I said, okay but not great.

This book kept me on my toes and was a page turner. Was skeptical about the heavy God references but really enjoyed how it was tied into the book.

A REALLY good mystery about twin sisters who were raised apart and discover each other as adults. They have plans for a life together in the same Oregon coast town, when a series of strange and terrifying events changes their plans. The story is a Christian story with one of the main characters working through a crisis from a Christian perspective and other characters who are not Christian working through it from their perspectives. Good balance is given to both perspectives.

Another good read from Lorena McCourtney. This one was more preachy than her previous books and I suspect the way Christianity is seen in the US is very different from Uk interpretations. The ending of the book felt rushed which cost it a star. The mystery element was good and I'm looking forward to reading the third book in the series.

The two I read from this series went basically like this: Independent, wealthy girl meets Christian boy who tries to get girl to "accept Christ" whilst undertaking some sort of murder mystery together, and of course falling in love. Good not great.

A good read

I enjoyed reading this mystery. It isn't just a good mystery with a romance thrown in for a bit of icing on the cake. It is a story of faith and redemption. I recommend it highly to anyone who likes a good mystery.

I grabed this one from my library reading list thought I would try it - but I didn't like it.

This is a good book for when you need a light escape without being fully sucked in to the story. Not bad, but quite predictable.

Good contemporary Christian mystery/Romance. Lots of pieces to the puzzle and keeps you guessing until close to the end. I'm not a huge romance fan but that is just a small piece of the story.

Was a very good read and was pleased that the "Christian" catagory was also true.

Better than the first book. However, still only OK. I hope the last in the series makes it worth it.

It was good in the end, but reading it on Kindle stressed me out - the book was on there twice so the end came up as 50%, it felt like a long drag which was a shame
