The Lactose-Free Family Cookbook
I checked out this cookbook from the library because, as you can assume, I am lactose intolerant. I have been having a lot of problems with it lately and thought a lactose-free cookbook could help me find more things I can eat.
Well, the title says "Lactose FREE", but a lot of the recipes use different kinds of cheese, and some have 'lactose reduced milk'. So I do not count that as having no lactose.
The title also says it is a family cookbook, but it contains recipes like 'Four Onion Pizza with Rosemary', 'Creamy Leek and Tomato Pasta', and 'Broccoli Apple Salad with Creamy Curry Dressing'. Now, there is nothing wrong with any of those dishes, but most children I know would not eat something like that. I would only consider this a family cookbook if your children are already accustomed to eating foods like this.
