The original book felt boring to me, and the author writes as if he’s presenting an academic study rather than a book for general readers. Honestly, if he had written it in the same straightforward style as this summary, it would have been much better.
The original message is super stretched, with a lot of repetitive common-sense statements, many exaggerated claims not based on scientific research. Does the need for enough sleep requires a dedicated book reiterating the same topic from different angles without adding anything new, I doubt! The original book is overrated, I am happy that I started with the summary to avoid wasting time in the original version.
