Her work includes Everlasting, Melody, Bruised, and Captivated. Stacy is a 2011 and 2012 African-American Literary Award nominee.
As usual, every new installment is filled with lots of mystery and intrigue., but this one had a very interesting plot twist that I did not see coming.
I love Jake to pieces and applaud Stacy-Deanne for writing such a sexy hero who just happens to be wheelchair-bound. I still don't think Lisa is totally over Winston (major side eye) and vice versa, and poor Grayson...Never stood a chance with Dee . See if you can keep up with that messy pentagon relationship (Jake/Lisa/Winston/Dee/Grayson).
Looking forward to reading about Dee and Winston....
I really enjoyed reading this book. It has lots of twists and turns, suspense, and romance. Once I started it, I did not want to put it down. Stacy-Deanne did a great job grabbing your attention, and keeping it. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I highly recommend this book.
This series was good and this book was a great ending to Lisa and Jake's story. Glad that they are finally able to fully trust each other. There was lots of drama with crazy ex's and crazy people in general. Looking forward to what happens with Dee and Winston.
